mattheo walked through the door, heading for the living room where he could hear the tv playing. he was as quiet as he could be and snuck up behind amelia, shouting boo at her. she screamed and fell off the sofa from shock.
"mattheo riddle! what the hell!" she shouted, throwing a pillow at him, hitting him directly in the face.
"you know, it's really not safe to leave your door unlocked." mattheo said to her as he sat down on the sofa, throwing the pillow back at her.
"yeah yeah, you gonna help me back up?" she asked him, stretching her hand out.
"nah, i think i'll let you get up yourself." he replied.
"such a gentleman!" she responded, sarcastically.
"i know right," he smiled at her as she pushed herself off the floor.
she sat down on the sofa, her legs crossed as she faced him.
"so, are we gonna talk now?" he asked, genuinely.
"yeah."
"then let's talk."
"so," she started.
"so," he copied her in a mimicking tone.
"hey!" she threw a pillow at him again, but this time he caught it.
"ok, ok, i won't interrupt you again."
"that's much more like it." she smiled. "so. you asked if i wanted us to be together." she said seriously.
"yes i did." he deadpanned.
"were you being serious?" she asked.
"yes. yes i was."
"oh"
"amie, is that a good oh, bad oh or a suprised oh?" he asked panicking, knowing there are many meanings behind her 'ohs'.
"good oh. because my response is yes."
"yes?"
"yes."
"okay. so," he started.
"so," she interrupted, mocking him as he did to her.
"oh so you can do that and i can't?" he asked laughing softly.
"yep," she smiled brightly.
"as i was saying, amelia nott, would you like to be my girlfriend?" he asked her smiling.
"hmm..." she fake considered, making them both laugh. "yes mattheo riddle, i would like to be your girlfriend."
they both smiled and he replied with, "good." and he hugged her.
