The week ended on a high note. Sophie seemed more like herself, and our session was productive. We discussed a new poem she had written, and I was blown away by her talent.
"You've really got something special here," I told her. "This is amazing."
Sophie smiled, a genuine, radiant smile that made my heart skip a beat. "Thank you, Ethan. Your feedback means a lot to me."
As I left the library, I couldn't help but feel that our bond was growing stronger. Sophie was becoming more than just a student I tutored. She was becoming a friend, someone I genuinely cared about.
Walking home, I reflected on the week. It had been full of surprises, and I couldn't wait to see what the next week would bring. I had a feeling that my journey with Sophie was just beginning, and I was eager to see where it would lead.
And so, in the quiet corners of the school library, a bond was forming between us, brought together by a shared love of words and a journey of discovery that was just beginning.
