Vanitas: why...?

Matsuda: got to get my sing on yo!

Motohama: we should go to the one in front of the station they get new inserts every week they even have contest

Kiryuu: I always love a good insert

Matsuda/Motohama/Issei: Kiryuu!

Vanitas: sup

Kiryuu: you're having a contest to who gives the best insert

Vanitas: they were going to karaoke

Kiryuu: oh my gosh! that sounds fun what time are you guys leaving I want to go! What do you think Asia

Vanitas: you can't just invite yourself like that...

Asia: karaoke.. I'd love to go

Matsuda/Motohama: what!!~

Vanitas: idiots get away from her!

*At the occult research club I was sitting next to koneko*

Rias: they did a good job cleaning the place it feels like we're getting a fresh start

Vanitas: yeah... But where the hell is Kiba?

Koneko: looks like somebody decided to take the entire day off must be nice...

Asia: I hope he's okay

Issei: Rias do you think this has anything to do with what we talked about yesterday?

*Rias nods*

Issei: no freaking way so what does kiba have to do with the holy swords

Vanitas: wait what??

Rias: I forgot I didn't tell you either... Kiba was a survivor of the holy sword project

Vanitas: holy sword project? Elaborate

Rias: there were other kids too they were all trained to use an Excalibur

Vanitas/Issei/Asia: !?!?!

Rias: as of right now there are seven holy swords that are known by the name of Excalibur, long ago pieces of the original Excalibur we're scattered during the war

Vanitas: seven?

Rias: yeah that's right it was the church that tracked down and collected all of those pieces, they then used alchemy to create seven entirely new swords

Issei: so does that mean kiba is able to use all of them

Rias: actually no it does not he never adapted to Excalibur strength in fact none of those whoever trained could, the entire project failed

Asia: completely?

Rias: yes those in charge decided to dispose of kiba and the other test subjects

Vanitas: dispose? So they were killed?

Rias: they were already on the verge of death... however one child was able to escape his motivation staying alive was a promise to himself that he would someday get revenge, I found that such a passion could be used in a meaningful way and wanted to help but there was but a single solution...
