Y/n's breath came in ragged gasps as she sprinted through the dimly lit streets of Seoul. The city, with its buzzing neon lights and constant hum, felt both vast and suffocating. Her mind raced faster than her feet, trying to calculate her next move, but panic clouded her thoughts. Behind her, Yoongi's footsteps pounded against the pavement, a relentless rhythm that sent shivers down her spine.

"Sweetheart, where are you going?" Yoongi's voice echoed through the alleyway, a sickly sweet tone that contrasted sharply with the venom in his words. "You know you can't escape from me."

Y/n's heart hammered in her chest. She had been married to Yoongi for two years, and each day had been a descent into a personal hell. His initial charm had masked a darkness that emerged more vividly with every passing day. Now, as she ran for her life, she cursed herself for not leaving sooner.

"Yoongi, please, just let me go," she pleaded, her voice barely more than a whisper. But she knew he could hear her. He always heard everything.

"You know I can't do that, darling," Yoongi replied, his voice closer now. "You belong to me."

Y/n turned a corner sharply, nearly slipping on the wet pavement. Her eyes darted around for any sign of help, but the streets were eerily empty. She had to find a place to hide, to regroup and think. Her hand instinctively went to her pocket, feeling for her phone, but it was gone—probably lost during her frantic escape.

"Baby, don't make this harder than it needs to be," Yoongi's voice was right behind her now, laced with a sinister patience. "Come back, and we can talk about this."

"Fuck you, Yoongi!" she screamed, the fear in her voice giving way to anger. "I'm not your property!"

She spotted a narrow gap between two buildings and squeezed through, her body scraping against the rough brick. She emerged into a small courtyard, her eyes scanning for an exit. A faint light flickered in a nearby window, and she ran towards it, hoping against hope that someone might help her.

She pounded on the door. "Help! Please, someone, help me!" she cried out, her voice breaking. But there was no answer. The light went out, and she was plunged into darkness.

"Darling, why are you running from me?" Yoongi's voice was calm, almost tender, as he stepped into the courtyard. "You know I love you. I do everything for you."

"Love?" Y/n spat, backing away. "This isn't love, Yoongi. You're fucking insane!"

Yoongi's face twisted into a mask of rage. "You ungrateful bitch," he snarled, his calm facade shattering. "I've given you everything, and this is how you repay me?"

Y/n looked around desperately for anything she could use as a weapon. Her eyes landed on a loose piece of wood lying near a pile of debris. She grabbed it, holding it out in front of her like a shield.

"Stay away from me," she warned, her voice trembling.

Yoongi laughed, a cold, mirthless sound. "What are you going to do with that, sweetheart? Hit me? You don't have it in you."

"Don't underestimate me," she replied, tightening her grip on the wood.

He took a step forward, and she swung with all her might. The wood connected with his arm, and he let out a grunt of pain. But the blow only seemed to fuel his rage. He lunged at her, and she stumbled back, dropping the wood.

"You fucking bitch!" Yoongi shouted, his hands closing around her throat. "You think you can just leave me?"

Y/n clawed at his hands, gasping for air. The world began to blur around her as she struggled. "Please... Yoongi... let me go," she choked out.

"Never," he hissed, his grip tightening. "You're mine, and if I can't have you, no one can."

Her vision darkened at the edges, and she felt herself slipping away. The last thing she saw was Yoongi's face, twisted in a grotesque mix of love and hatred.

As the darkness closed in, she realized that escape had never been an option. Not from him. Not from this hell.

And then, there was nothing.
