It was Y/n's 25th birthday, and honestly, she wasn't expecting much. Living alone in a small apartment on the outskirts of the city, her life was pretty low-key. No big parties, no fancy plans—just a quiet evening with takeout pizza, a Netflix binge, and maybe a call from her mom. She'd treated herself to a new dress earlier that day, a cute red one that made her feel a bit special. As the sun dipped low, casting orange hues through her window, she hummed to herself while lighting a single candle on a cupcake she'd picked up from the corner bakery.

"Happy birthday to me," she whispered, blowing out the flame with a soft wish for something exciting to shake up her routine. Little did she know, excitement was about to crash into her life like a freight train.

She heard a knock at the door. Weird— she wasn't expecting anyone. Peeking through the peephole, she saw two guys standing there, both tall and strikingly handsome, like they stepped out of a magazine. One had tousled dark hair and a sharp jawline, wearing a black leather jacket; the other had longer hair tied back, piercings glinting in the hallway light, dressed in a hoodie and jeans. They looked... familiar? But she couldn't place it.

"Delivery for Y/n?" the one in the leather jacket called out, his voice smooth and deep.

She hesitated. She hadn't ordered anything. But curiosity got the better of her. Cracking the door open just a bit, chain still on, she peeked out. "Uh, I didn't order any—"

Before she could finish, the door burst inward, the chain snapping like it was nothing. She stumbled back, heart leaping into her throat. The two men pushed inside, slamming the door shut behind them. The one with the leather jacket—Kim Taehyung, though she didn't know his name yet—grabbed her wrist, his grip firm but not bruising. Yet.

"Shh, easy there," he said casually, like they were old friends. "Happy birthday, sweetheart. We're your surprise guests."

The other one, Jeon Jungkook, locked the door and leaned against it, crossing his arms with a smirk. "Yeah, don't scream or anything. Neighbors might get the wrong idea."

Y/n's mind raced, panic flooding her veins. Who were these guys? What did they want? She opened her mouth to yell, but nothing came out—just a whimper. Her legs felt like jelly, and she backed up until she hit the kitchen counter, knocking over her cupcake. The candle rolled across the floor.

"P-please... what do you want? I don't have money," she stammered, her voice barely above a whisper. Terror gripped her so tight she couldn't even think about fighting. These men were bigger, stronger, and something in their eyes—cold, calculating—made her freeze.

Taehyung chuckled, releasing her wrist but staying close, towering over her. "Money? Nah, we're not here for that. We're here for you, Y/n. It's your special day, after all."

Jungkook pushed off the door and strolled over, picking up the fallen cupcake with a grin. "Look at this. Cute. You celebrating alone? That's kinda sad." He took a bite, smearing frosting on his lips. "Mmm, vanilla. My favorite."

Y/n's eyes darted between them, her breath coming in short gasps. "How... how do you know my name? Please, just leave. I won't tell anyone."

Taehyung tilted his head, his expression almost playful. "We know a lot about you. Been watching for a while. You're our first girl, you know? Usually, we pick guys—easier to handle, less drama. But you? You're special. Born on this day, just like the others we grab. Perfect for the stream."

"Stream?" she whispered, her mind reeling. Dark web? Kidnapping? This couldn't be real. She wanted to run, to scream, but her body wouldn't move. They were too close, too intimidating.
