Cooking for others always made Dino happy whenever he did. It gave him a sense of joy to share one of his few talents with someone. He cooked all the time for Woolfster when he was living with him, he cooked on occasion for any school functions Woolfster had, he would even barbeque sometimes for his other friends; mainly whenever Woolfster had any other friends over for projects and whatever else. He was good at cooking mid-level dishes, and it was a great way to show he cared for whoever he was cooking for, mainly Woolfster.

So it made him feel the same kind of joy cooking for his foster daughter, Ursula.

Unsurprisingly, she never had any home-cooked meals because of the orphanage. It was mostly stuff that could be cooked in mass quantities, so it lacked the warm feeling of home. It lacked the taste of being cooked by someone who actually cared instead of being cooked just because the person was being paid. That's mostly why Dino wouldn't ever become a chef. He tried cooking for commissions before, but it just didn't feel the same as this does.

So Dino ensured this was the best home-cooked meal Ursula had ever had.

Since she first came, he had given her mostly TV dinners, not in a cruel way; he also had TV dinners with her. He did that to gauge what she would enjoy the most so she could feel safe and comfortable here.

He found out that she enjoys popcorn chicken and mini corndogs the most and isn't shy about eating the corn that would come with most TV dinners. So he's making mini breaded chicken bites, little smokies wrapped in crescent rolls, and half corn on the cobb. If she can't really eat it on the cobb, he's made some creamy corn she can have instead.

Is he overcompensating and worrying too much about ensuring she's comfortable here? Maybe.

Ursula is currently in the living room on the couch, watching a sci-fi movie that came up when the TV was first turned on, leaving Dino in the kitchen cooking the chicken bites while the little smokies baked in the oven. He's trying his best not to be hovering over her while she's watching TV because he used to do that all the time when Woolfster first moved in to make sure he was alright, and it ended up just causing Woolfster more stress than comfort, so Dino was making sure he didn't make the same mistake twice. The LAST thing he wanted was to make Ursula feel uncomfortable in a space that was supposed to be her home or, worse, her own skin.

He knew THAT feeling too well.

"YOU'RE A FUCKING ASSHOLE!!" A woman not much older than 20 just screeched at the top of her lungs as she stormed out of the bedroom, hurriedly putting her skirt on as a very disturbed Dino followed after her. "You said we were just going to have dinner and a movie! You never mentioned doing-any of THAT!" The woman rolled her eyes and glared at Dino. "I have NEVER met a man who didn't want to have sex! God, you're disgusting!!"

"Y-You know if all the men you've met wanted nothing but sex, that's what's disgusting here-"
