☁️Chapter 3 - Strange Man☁️

"Those things'll kill you." Leon replied.

"Oh... well, maybe just untie me then." The man muttered, turning on his side to give better access to the rope. Before you or Leon could make a quip at the man's request, the man in the bag scoots back with urgency.

"¡Joder! Not this guy!" He cursed. Tensing, you and Leon turn around to see a strange man walking toward you. He's tall with a black hat and trenchcoat. You immediately draw your guns, pointing your flashlights as he continues to approach.

"Who are you?" You called. The man kept approaching, unresponsive.

"Okay stop right there—" Leon spoke, yet was cut off when the man grabbed you both, throwing you straight into the wall of crates behind him. Your vision becomes hazy. Leon seemed to get knocked out from the impact. The man approaches you two, yet... you can't move. Your heart begins to pound at your ribcage. Then, when he's standing right above you both he...stops.

His hand emerges from his coat, and with it a syringe. He lowers it to Leon's neck, and before you can even try to call for him... you pass out.

....Your head hurts.

Your vision is funny and fuzzy, it feels like you'd just got thrown into a wall or something.

...Oh wait—

Your hands are suddenly yanked up, the sound of chains entering your head as you finally remember to open them. As your vision clears, you see your dear partner and the man from before tied up in the same way as you, only you and Leon had been stripped of your jackets along with all of your gear. Somehow, they'd managed to connect it in a way where if one of you pulled, the other two would be yanked in the process. Leon and the man you'd found in the bag made that clear as they spoke, Leon tugging the chain harshly to yank the man closer to question him, yet only realizing he'd yanked you in the process. There's an awkward silence...

"...Good morning to you too, I guess." You mutter.
