That night, in the early hours, Manik came home. In the morning, when Neelam got up, she saw Manik sleeping beside her. She immediately woke him up, urgency in her voice.

"Manik, get up! It's not time to sleep. It's time to make our dreams real," she said, shaking him.

Faking sleepiness, Manik groaned, "What are you saying?"

Neelam's expression was serious. "That's why we called you so many times. Yesterday, when we went to the Kuldevi temple, some thief broke into our house. He robbed some jewelry and cash from Maasa's room and he... he raped Janhvi.

Manik feigned shock and concern. "What are you talking about?"

"Yes," Neelam confirmed. "Last night, the doctor came and checked on her. She said she had collected some evidence, and if we want to file a complaint, we can use that as proof."

This information jolted Manik. He hadn't anticipated this turn of events. Neelam continued, "Prem Bhai, Varun, and Kabir are in no condition to look after the shops. Now you can sympathize with them, and they will give the responsibility to us."

Manik nodded absent-mindedly, trying to process the situation. "Did they file a complaint?"

"Not yet," Neelam replied. "They are waiting for Janhvi to wake up. After that, they will file a complaint.

Manik's mind raced. He needed to act fast. "Okay, bring some tea. My head is hurting."

Neelam nodded and went downstairs. As soon as she was out of sight, Manik grabbed his phone and dialed a number. "Send me the video I told you to prepare."

"Okay," the other person replied, and Manik disconnected the call with an evil smirk. His plan had to change, but he was determined to stay ahead and turn this situation to his advantage.

In Janhvi's room, Jiya woke up as she had slept sitting on the couch. As soon as she opened her eyes, she saw Varun and Kabir in the same position they had been in all night. She realized they hadn't blinked their eyes even for a second the entire night.

She walked over to them and softly said, "Kabir, go and sleep for some time. Janhvi will wake up anytime soon."

Kabir shook his head. "No, Bhabhi. Let me sit here until she wakes up."

Jiya insisted gently, "Kabir, I'll call you as soon as she wakes up. She's under medication; she won't wake up soon. Don't spoil your health sitting here. Go."
