["Dance To Express, Not Impress"]

Despite having just done a competition the next day was immediately get up and go. They didn't have much time at the casino and the time they did have was spent packing. They had needed to check out at 12:00 in the afternoon.

After that they drove to New Haven to go to the airport to get ready to fly to their next destination. The airport was about fifty minutes away to an hour. Which means they got there are 1:15.

They got lunch in New Haven which took about an hour and a half, putting them at 2:45-3:00 and then they went around the city for a few more hours. That was a lot of fun. They got cute pictures and everything.

At 6:00 they went to airport to check in and go through customs and everything. By 7:00 they were boarding the plane. Emily sat by Maddie, as usual. This time it was three seats and they wanted Chloé or Paige to sit with them, but Melissa had Mackenzie sit with them. Brooke sat with Chloé and Paige.

Nia sat with her mom, she was across from Emily, Maddie, and Mackenzie though. Emily and Maddie almost asked Mackenzie to switch seats so Nia wasn't left out but Nia kept telling them it was fine and they could talk across the isle.

The did talk, eventually Nia decided to watch a movie though. All of the girls were snacking on their candy shop candy. Mackenzie and Emily were trading candy as well.

The plane landed in Orlando Florida at 10:08 at night. The girls went and got their luggage and there was a white van waiting for them there. They took the van to the hotel and then dropped their luggage off before deciding to put to diner.

The kids all sat at one table and everyone was feeling sleepy and was ready to go to bed.

"What are gonna do get, Em?" Maddie had asked this and Emily snapped her eyes open that had been shutting a moment before.

"I don't know. I just want to go to bed," Emily placed her head in her hand which was propped up with her elbow resting on the table.

"Me too," Chloé said, yawning right after.

Brooke noticed everyone looking sleepier than usual, "I think we all are," she softly said.

"Want to just split something?" Maddie asked Emily, who nodded and then went to rest her head in her arms.

They decided to get chicken tenders and fries. They each just ate half of it.

After dinner they went back to the hotel and despite how tired she was Emily decided to take a shower. She felt disgusting with all the different germs she had on her from all of the different places she had been to.

Emily woke up early, the sunlight streaming through the hotel curtains casting a warm glow across the room. She stretched and rubbed her eyes, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves about the upcoming competition. Today was an important rehearsal day, and she wanted to start it off right.

She got out of bed, quickly dressing in her favorite dance outfit: a sleek black leotard and matching leggings. She brushed her hair, trying to tame the wild strands into a neat ponytail. Once she was satisfied with her look, she grabbed her dance bag and quietly left her room, careful not to wake Katie, who was still asleep.

Emily walked down the hall to Maddie's room, her steps light but purposeful. She and Maddie had a tradition of matching their outfits and hairstyles on important rehearsal days, a small ritual that made them feel more connected and confident. Emily knocked softly on Maddie's door, and after a moment, it opened to reveal Maddie's smiling face.
