Chapter 1 • new start

Luisa pov

Today I will be going to my new so called "family" or at least that's what everyone around me tells me.
But the word family is one I can't imagine ever using again.

Everyone around me was so happy and exited for me when they learnt about my new home and I guess that's how I should feel to, lucky to be adopted since there are so many who are also still waiting for that to happen.

From what I've been told it's a well known kind hearted family and one of their sons plays for Barcelona, can't wait for that he's probably spoiled as fuck with a big ego feeling himself a bit too much.

I was deep in thoughts staring out of the car window until I hear my tutor say that we arrived. We stepped out and she helped me gather my luggage from the trunk. We made our way over to the front door, the house was beautiful not to big but definitely not small nothing over the top.

The door already opened and a friendly looking woman and man who were smiling widely in the entrance walked over to me and embraced me in a hug.

It was a friendly gesture but I was a bit unsure how to act, I slightly smiled back accepting the embrace

Welcome Luisa we are glad to finally have you here Maria said kindly

Let me take this inside for you Fernando kindly offered my tutor referring to my luggage which she kindly accepted and thanked him

It was time for me to say goodbye to her I thanked her for everything and all the help she's giving me this past year and she wished me the best of luck for my future and told me I deserved the best with new people around me.

Let's get you inside I will Introduce you to the boys and get you settled in your room maria said and showed me the way inside

Thank you that sounds great I said and gave her a small smile to show my appreciation and followed behind her inside. We crossed the hallway into the living room and I saw two boys who you could definitely tell from they were brothers in all focus playing fifa.

Boys Luisa is here come and meet her I heard Fernando call them over.

One of them immediately put the controller down, jumped off the couch and rushed over

Heey I'm Fer nice to have you here I'm sure we'll get along well he said and from his cheeky smile he seemed nice and someone who's great to have around.

Hii, I'm Luisa but guess you already know that, I think so too I said with a small laugh making Maria and Fernando smile too seeing we got of the right foot immediately.

However the other boy stayed put on the couch and was scrolling on his phone not really interested in anything what was happening here.

Pedri you're coming? Maria asked when she noticed he still wasn't planning on getting over here or whatsoever.

Why? it's not like I asked for her to be here he said shrugging his shoulders not looking up from whatever he was doing on his phone

Pedro! Fernando said sternly giving him a deadly look to let him know he was serious making the boy sigh in defeat dropping his phone on the couch and walked over. He stopped right in front of me staring right in my eyes.

Pedro but that's Pedri for you he said without blinking zero expression on his face just blankly

I guess only his family calls him Pedro sometimes since Fernando just used it as a warning and he doesn't want me to use his name because from what I can tell he hates me already, and I've only been here for like what? A Small 10 minutes?

But you know what I'm going to keep it as simple as him so the only thing I did was look at him faked a small smile before looking away and simply stated: Luisana but you can call me Luisa

He looked at me like he expected me to be hurt by his comment and was surprised to find out that I'm not buying that and treating him just the same as he was treating me.

Hahaha bro didn't expect that didn't he Fernando laughed mocking Pedri and I saw Fernando nudging him telling him to shut up to not make the situation worse.

Oh and Pedro since you're finally standing here I think this is a good moment for you to show Luisa upstairs and her room Fernando added and I laughed on the inside knowing he's going to hate doing that

Why do I have to do that? Can't Fer do it since they are getting along so well already? As expected Pedri said in annoyance knowing he didn't get rid of me just yet

Pedri not a word ok?... if weren't clear enough already his mother said directly, tired of how he was behaving.

Alright fine he said giving up for now ....
