For some reason, the world has decided to slap me in the face and give me the worst roommate on earth.

My day was going great. I talked to Santino about our music taste and finally learned how to do a cheerleading trick perfectly, but for some reason, my day had to be ruined.

I put a pillow over my head to sound out her light snoring.

Becca, Ashley, and I decided to give the new girl, Charlotte a warm welcome, and all she did was death glare us and walk away. Not only that, but she looked me up and down before smiling, I bet she was laughing at me or something.

I was happy that I wouldn't see her that much since I thought she was only in my gym class, but to my surprise when I opened my dorm door after cheer practice, it revealed Charlotte passed out with a bunch of slobber coming out her mouth.

Not only that, but her side of the room is a mess. She's only been here for two days, but there are at least 3 pieces of clothing on her bed and 2 on the floor.

Finally, after it's been an hour since I got here, she wakes up. (I know this because the snoring stopped.)

I watch her hand escape the covers and feel around the bed for where she left her phone. Suddenly, I sneeze, and she gives me a discombobulated "bless you" while half asleep.

She sniffs before her hand goes back into the covers, and I don't hear anything from her until she decides to speak. "Please turn off that light." She yawns, referring to my night light.

"I'm sorry, but I can't do t-" I'm suddenly cut off by her snoring.

After school, I took Andréses' advice and went to the school tailor.

I knock on the door at least five times before it's being opened. Surprisingly, I come face to face with my roommate.

"Are you ok? What happened?" She questions before looking at me up and down.

*flashback*

"What do you think she's saying?"

Angela and I watched Ashley talk to Santino for me, behind a bush.

"That you're awesome, obviously, " Angela shrugs.

Ashley got tired of me ogling at Santonio, so she told me she would ask Santonio out for me if I did the same for her.

"You right, you right." I agree, trying not to close my eyes.

Just like Tuesday, my roommate was snoring like a pig last night. And due to that fact, I haven't been getting enough sleep. Surprisingly, her snoring was louder than Tuesday.

I mean, how is that possible?

"Zola? Zola?" Angela says, trying to get my attention.

"Huh?" I jump.

"I said let-" Suddenly a buzzing sound interrupted her. I look at her slowly to see a bee buzzing beside her.

"Ok let's walk away slowly," I say moving backward.

Next thing I know Angela's screaming to bring attention to us before running for her life. I attempted to do so too but as soon as I started running I tripped over something and rolled down a short hill falling into the school dam.

And to top it all off as soon as I got out of the water the bee stung me.

*end of flashback*

Charlotte and Mrs. Martinez stared at me with literally no emotion on their face for at least ten seconds before they burst out laughing.

I shift to the sofa opposite them sitting on top of a towel so I don't get the sofa dirty.

"Let's get you some new clothes," Miss Martinez says through her giggles and stands up.

"Thank you," I sighed.

It's Friday.

I've been looking all over for Andrés to hook him up with Ashley since she did the same for me yesterday but he is nowhere to be found.

As a last-ditch attempt, I find myself walking to the boys' dorms.

You're probably wondering. Zola, you can always ask him later why are you going the extra mile to ask him now.

Well, that's because Ashley already asked Santino for me and I feel bad about not doing the same for her as I promised.

"You know the girls' dorms are in the opposite direction right?" I jump and look to my side to face Adrian.

I place a hand on my heart and take a breath.

"Have you seen Andrés?" I question.

"Yeah he's in the gym exercising, want me to take you there?" He informs me.

A smile grows on my face as I nod.

I follow his lead back to the school.

We walk in awkward silence because I don't know how to start a conversation.

"How's Kwestpoint treating you?" I say trying to start a conversation.

"On my life, Miss Davis has a crush on me." He says putting a hand on his heart. "Yesterday in math I didn't understand a thing so she came over to help me on her way to my desk she did this walk." Adrian takes a few steps back and walks back to me swaying his hips I giggle as he does so. "And I'm not even done after that she went over to my desk and said 'What you need help with' and it wasn't in a teacher help student way it was like teacher help student way," he says raising his eyebrows frantically. Emphasizing the second "help."

"Then what happened," I say engaged.

"Can you believe that Charlotte didn't believe me?" He says offended.

He's like the tenth person that I know has talked to Charlotte. The girl has only arrived Wednesday and knows half the school.

"What's up, Zola," I turn around to see Andrés walking down the stairs with Charlotte.

Here she is proving my point

"Hey, Andrés can I talk to you?"

Charlotte goes over to Adrian dapping him up.

"Let's go friend." She says interlocking hands with Adrian and walks away with him.
