"Honey I'm home," I yelled out in excitement while bursting through the door of our home.
"Y/n, I missed you dude. I've been bored all day," Vi groans from the couch.
"HEY, you've been hanging out with me all day!" Powder yells in a hurt manner.
"Powder, I was just kidding. You know you are my sister and I love hanging out with you, but y/n is my best friend, and I just missed her," Vi says reassuringly.
"Yeah I get it. I missed her too," Powder says with a giggle.
"Guys I've only been working for about eight hours. Don't be dramatic," I said giggling and rolling my eyes.
I made my way down the stairs and flung my body onto the couch and put my legs on Vi's lap. Powder crawled over to me and sprawled herself right on top of me. I started petting her head when Vi spoke up,
"Are you saying that in those eight hours you didn't miss me?" I feel my face turning a bright shade of red.
"Uh- I mean Of course, but like not like that, I mean you're my best friend of course I missed you."
"Relax y/n I'm just playing," she lets out with a giggle.
"Pft- I knew that. What makes you think I didn't know that?" I say with a sigh
"Mhm yeah, just a hunch."

Claggor and Mylo come into the living room and sat in the recliners facing opposite to the couch.
"Now that we're all here," I say clearing my throat.
"Little Man gave me a tip that's so good you're going to be shitting cupcakes and rainbows for weeks!"
"Vi already does that. Don't you Vi? Because, LESBI honest," Mylo says with a snicker.

Everyone starts dying laughing and Vi just glared at Mylo with a blush covering her face. She glanced over at me and blushed even harder. Maybe I just imagined it.

"Yeah, Yeah, alright back to business," I said while sitting up.

I fixed my legs to where they were planted onto the floor, and I'm leaning forward. My elbows are on my knees, and my fingers are interlocked in my lap.

"Benzo had me take out the trash, but as I was walking out, a stranger walked in. He smelt like rich cologne so he was definitely from top side."
Powder lightly gasped.
"I knew Ekko was still in there to ease drop for me so I just took out the trash like I was asked. When I came back, Ekko pulled me to the side and he told me everything!"

Vi stood up and started pacing back and forth in front of me.
"Vi, sit down. I can't focus," Mylo groans.
"Yeah, sorry, I just feel like I know where this is going," Vi said while eyeing me.
"Peach, don't worry yet. Trust me on this. Come sit next to me, okay?" I say hopefully.
She slowly sits down next to me and holds onto my hand. Vi looks at me and nods her head allowing me to continue.

"Little Man said that the Piltie had a shit load of goods that were worth a lot. He described him as well put together and smart looking. He wrote down his address for me on this piece of paper." I pulled out a piece of worn yellow paper from my back pocket, and I slammed it onto the table that was separating the recliners from the couch.
"It looks like the Piltie lives in the Academy part of town. If we can pull this off, we're set for life. How about it Vi? It's your call."

I look into her deep, icy blue eyes and see all of her anxieties. I give her a loving smile and she returns it. I see all those anxieties vanish.

"Alright Hawk, let's do this. First thing tomorrow we're hitting that Piltie's apartment. Let's see what those Pilties are keeping from us!"
Everyone starts jumping up and shouting for joy.

"Will you quit calling me Hawk," I yell out?

"I will once you stop calling me peach," vi giggles.

"Yeah, but you're so cute and soft like a peach," I say slyly.

"Yeah, and you sling those twin daggers around like they're your talons," Vi says sending me a wink.

We both roll our eyes and start laughing so hard we forget how to breathe. Once we quit laughing we start dancing. We pull the others onto the couch, and we all start jumping on the couch in celebration. Tomorrow we are getting a little taste of Piltover. We're getting a little taste of the life we were robbed of.

That was the last night we spent worry free.
