"Mommy! Mommy! Look at me! Look what I did!" She screamed. Her mother turned to see Lizzie, covered from head to toe in lipstick. Her thin, blonde hair stained red, her baby blue eyes looking up at her mother. "Karen! We have a problem!" Her mother yelled. "What's the matter darling?" Karen looked at Lizzie and groaned. "I'll get the baby oil, you try and get it out of the rug." The two women chugged off to get the job done, Wendy did the floor, Karen did the baby. After around forty five minutes Lizzie had been sat on the couch. Her mothers looked down at her sternly. She shrunk into the cushion, ashamed. "Elizabeth Marie. You know that what you did wasn't a very good thing." Wendy looked down at her daughter, bundled in her blanket. Instantly Lizzie burst into tears. "I-I so-wwy mom-my!" She sobbed. Karen looked at Wendy, Wendy looked at Karen and they both sat down beside Lizzie. "Lizzie, its okay sweetie. I should've kept a closer eye on you." Karen cooed as she pulled her daughter close to her. "I'm sorry baby." Wendy smiled slightly. In that moment Wendy realized that she had made the best decision of her life.
