"This should be enough instant coffee for at least a year! But of course they'll probably drink through it in a week,"
You whined as you carried two large bags of instant coffee in your arms, walking alongside Haruhi.Instead of agreeing with your sentiments, the girl seemed to be deep in thought, staring off into the sky as she walked.
"Are you even listening to me? If you keep staring off into the sky like that you're gonna-"
Your warning was a little too late, as she slipped on a banana peel and hurdled to the ground. With your arms full, you weren't able to catch her, but thankfully someone else did. A tall girl with an unfamiliar uniform swooped in out of nowhere, saving Haruhi from the ground.
"It would be a shame if any harm came to that cute face of yours, miss,"
She spoke with a confident smile. The girl had a princely aura to her, and suddenly you felt like something bad was coming.

"Good question. In my case, it would be. 'I would never leave her alone,'"
The tall girl suddenly appeared before the hosts with Haruhi in her hands, going on to do a whole dramatic display towards her.'Oh my god she's just Tamaki if he was a woman,'
Your sense of dread increased as her posse surrounded Haruhi, admiring her.You kind of lost focus after that, retreating to your mind to try and find a way to get through the day and its inevitable antics so that you'd leave it unscathed and unannoyed
When you finally came to, Benibara was calling Tamaki a halfer, which ended up being true.
"Tama-chan is a halfer! A french and japanese half-chan!"
Haruhi continued to try and defend the club from the lobelia girl, but each accusation ended up being based in truth.
Kyoya soon revealed that the club would sometimes get a hold of the items you and Haruhi used and auction them off as well, which explained why you were missing quite a few erasers
The lobelia girls had one more go at trying to convince Haruhi to leave before deciding they'd give her the day to decide, and spun their way out of the school, laughing.
Haruhi left soon after, with you following her out.
"You think you might-?"
"No way,"
She cut you off."I went to this school for a reason, y'know? While it'd be nice to not have my stuff sold, I'm not sure the Zuka club would be the right fit for me either,"
She explained. What a relief! If Haruhi left you for the Zuka club, you'd have to find someone else to take her place as your best friend, and that's pretty hard when you've already made it through a substantial part of the school year. It also would've meant you'd have no reason to remain with the host club, and you could already imagine how hard it might be to try and quit.
For a moment, you thought about informing the host club that their cherished Haruhi wouldn't be leaving them, but knowing them, they probably had something really stupid cooked up, and you wouldn't want to miss that.
