I just finished a simple palm reading while Elizabeth went out to fetch more herbs from the nearby Forest, the guards that were running Patrol had been extended, more people, more strength. the man me and Aiden saw had not been seen yet by any of the other villagers, I wasn't sure if he had gone back to the Mortal realm or if he was still lingering.

the doorbell chimed alerting me that somebody had entered the store, " I'll be with you in just a moment" I called out to them with a bright smile, I finished placing some of the books in the bookshelf before spinning around with a bright smile on my face that almost immediately dropped as I saw who was standing in the doorway.

Aiden was in his guard uniform with a few others with him, and in the center of all the men stood Aaron Sylvester. This was the first time I was seeing the king in person, he has a rugged and intense look. He has dark, wavy hair that falls slightly over his forehead, giving him a somewhat tousled appearance. His eyes are a piercing stormy Gray, with a focused, penetrating gaze. He has a strong, angular jawline and a well-defined facial structure. His complexion is tanned, with subtle shadows highlighting the contours of his face. He sports a short, neatly trimmed beard and mustache. The man is wearing dark, likely leather, attire, adding to his overall rugged and mysterious appearance.

I quickly bowed my head and did a small curtsy. " my apologies your majesty, I wouldn't have kept you waiting if I had known it was you" I kept my eyes averted from his, quickly brushing my hand over the side of my head making sure that my ears were properly covered, he of all people could not know that I was a mortal.

"Please there is no need for such Your Mother, Elizabeth Rivers has been a close friend of my family's for a while," he said, the way he said mother was as if he suspected she wasn't. it would make sense if she was close friends with the family that they have never seen her pregnant she one day just acquired a child. I kept my eyes to the floor as I Rose.

" Aiden here tells me you seen the mortal, can you describe him?" the king asked, something about him was strange, I felt strange I felt drawn to him in a way that I couldn't understand. and I could feel his eyes piercing through me.

I had just finished a simple palm reading while Elizabeth went out to fetch more herbs from the nearby forest. The guards patrolling the village had been increased in number—more people, more strength. The man Aiden and I saw had not been spotted by any of the other villagers. I wasn't sure if he had gone back to the mortal realm or if he was still lingering nearby.

The doorbell chimed, alerting me that someone had entered the store. "I'll be with you in just a moment," I called out with a bright smile. I finished placing some of the books on the bookshelf before spinning around with the same bright smile, which almost immediately dropped as I saw who was standing in the doorway.

Aiden was in his guard uniform, accompanied by a few other guards. In the center of all the men stood Aaron Sylvester, the King of the Faye. This was the first time I was seeing the king in person. He had a rugged and intense look. His dark, wavy hair fell slightly over his forehead, giving him a somewhat tousled appearance. His eyes were a piercing stormy gray, with a focused, penetrating gaze. He had a strong, angular jawline and a well-defined facial structure.
