Haerin's POV

A few weeks after our theater project presentation, the buzz had finally started to die down. We had become somewhat of a known entity in school, which was both exciting and a bit daunting. Mr. Peterson approached us one afternoon with a new proposition.

"I have another challenge for you all," he said, his eyes twinkling with enthusiasm. "This next project will be more extensive, and I'd like to expand your team. I've chosen two new members who I believe will bring valuable perspectives and skills."

Danielle, Hanni, and I exchanged curious glances. Mr. Peterson called over Minji and Hyein, who had been working on other projects in the class. They both looked a bit surprised but also excited as they joined us.

Danielle's POV

"Welcome to the team," I said, extending a hand to Minji and Hyein. "We're really excited to have you on board."

Minji shook my hand firmly. "Thanks! I'm looking forward to working with you all."

Hyein smiled shyly. "I've heard so much about your theater project. It was really inspiring."

Mr. Peterson handed us a new assignment sheet. "This time, I'd like you to research the history of our town's oldest school. It has a fascinating past, and I'm sure you'll uncover some incredible stories."

We huddled together to discuss our initial thoughts. The oldest school in town was a sprawling building with layers of history embedded in its walls. It had seen generations of students pass through its doors, each leaving their mark.

Minji's POV

We decided to meet at the school library after classes to brainstorm our approach. As we settled into a quiet corner, I couldn't help but feel excited about being part of this group. Their previous project was impressive, and I was eager to contribute.

"I think we should start by gathering basic information and then look for interesting anecdotes and personal stories," I suggested.

Hyein nodded. "Maybe we can interview some former students and teachers. They might have unique insights and experiences to share."

Haerin agreed. "And we should definitely check out the archives. Old yearbooks, newspapers, and school records could be really helpful."

Danielle, who had become our unofficial leader, assigned tasks. "Minji, Hanni, and I will handle the interviews. Haerin and Hyein, you two can start with the archives and library research."

Hanni's POV

Our first day at the archives was fruitful. Haerin and I found a treasure trove of old yearbooks and photographs that chronicled the school's history. We spent hours flipping through the pages, marveling at the changes over the decades.

"Look at this," Haerin said, pointing to a picture of a 1940s classroom. "The students look so different, but the building itself hasn't changed much."

We took notes and made copies of the most interesting photos and articles. Meanwhile, Danielle, Minji, and Hanni were busy conducting interviews with some of the school's alumni. Each story added a new layer to our understanding of the school's significance.

Minji's POV

Interviewing former students and teachers was eye-opening. One of our interviewees, Mrs. Kim, had been a teacher at the school for over thirty years. She had witnessed countless changes and had a wealth of stories to share.

"The school was a beacon during difficult times," Mrs. Kim reminisced. "During the war, it served as a community center, and in the 60s, it became a hub for social change."
