There is no better place than an eye to search for one's soul. An eye is an interpreter of different emotions. So small yet so endless that some get lost in them. If shut the world just drops dead and if opened again the world is brought to life. A speaker of one's mind or maybe a soul telling a language unknown to all but stigetsget understood by many. Spoken more truth than the lips ever had.

Maybe that's why some just try to seek answers from them. Cause that vast universe is a truer reflection of one's soul rather than the words that come out of it.

Alien did the same. He searched for the answers in Jacob's eyes. Jacob let him.
Brown eyes searched in those amber eyes as if the wood was trying to reach for the flames to light it up. Alieo wanted answers, he wanted to know why he was different from other kids. Why does he curse in such a way?
Why he was not accepted the way he wanted to be? Why does he get to be different? Did he commit a great sin in his past life to be punished this gravely in this life by satan himself?

Why?!

Alieo quietly waited for Jacob to speak. Jacob just quietly looked at him. He opened his mouth to say something but closed it again and continued to maintain the silence.

A small light reflected on Alieo's eyes making him shift his attention towards the source. About a few meters away there was something shiny among the pile of fallen dead leaves. He looked at Jacob to find him also staring at the object.
Alieo got up from his place and made his way towards it. He swept some of the leaves with his shoes only to find An orange diamond big enough to fit in his whole palm. He bent down and picked it up to observe it in the sunlight. Soon there was some red smoke formed at the core of the diamond.

He turned back to ask Jacob to see something flash by with great speed in front of his eyes and his mind went blank. In the next moment, he found himself lying on the ground and soon enough he started to feel intense pain in his chest as if it had been hit by a boulder making him whimper.

As the pain started to fade he slowly opened his eyes to see Jacob standing in the place where he was just a moment before clutching the diamond in his hand so tightly that the veins started to appear in them. Two big canines were protruding from his mouth, his eyes were now a shade of red, and his chest was heaving up and down as if he was trying to keep in his anger.

"I don't care who you are alien and don't you ever be bold to assume that I am a saint who will guide you to find yourself in your little life? So you better get out of here and go home like a good boy and not a speak about this incident to a single soul, do you get it?", said Jacob as calmly as he could at the moment.

"But you just saved my life-", said Alieo with a slight shake in his voice now a little scared of him.

"Then I can simply take yours without batting an eyelid I did to that darkling", said Jacob now walking towards the lying dark who is now dead.

With shaky hands, also tried to reach for him but he just remained rooted to the ground from the shock. But with a snarl, Jacob drew his claws out and plunged them into Dark's chest clawing out his heart in his hands as the blood spilt everywhere. What a dreadful scene.

"RUN!!", snarled Jacob making Alieo come to his senses.

As if a switch had been turned on alieo got up and made a run towards his home as fast as he could. All the beautiful scenery passed by in a blur as if Alieo would care about it at the moment.

He thought he could not run faster than he was already running but another snarl from the woods proved him wrong.

After five minutes or so the fencing of his backyard came into his line of sight but he didn't stop running until he was inside the backyard not before confirming the lock of the fence.

Seeing the locks are secured and there was no chance of someone coming in he finally felt a sense of relief. He fell to the ground now that he had come back to his senses everything replayed in his mind as tears started to fall from his eyes.

He tried to get up but couldn't as he realized that his whole body was shaking maybe from the run he made back to his home. After all, he reached home within ten minutes or so which usually took him thirty minutes. Or maybe it was due to terror at what he just saw till now.

Lying on the ground he started crying as it was just too much for him to witness. What was he even thinking out there in the woods? A non-human creature mercilessly killing the other of his kind. Why did he think he had a good heart and might not kill him just to keep it all a secret? No one would know what happened to him there. He just couldn't understand what happened to him.

Even though his mind was hazy he heard the moment of the door opening and closing and then hurried footsteps coming his way and then stopped right in front of him.

"Alieo?", it Grandpandpa but Alieo just doesn't have to strength to even lift his head.

"Alieo!?", now more worried and frantic." what happened to you? Did you see some wild animals out there? Did you see something? Aleio my son get up."

Another but this time light footsteps stopped in front of him and then he felt a hand on his cheeks followed by a gasp," he is burning up" whispered Martha.

"Let's take him inside first I'll call Doctor Desmond to come here as quick as possible", said Graham.

Both the elderly couple helped their weak grandson inside their home slowly and carefully.
