Lan Zhan was finally healed. Well healed enough to walk and stand. He was only wearing one of his inner robes. He was careful when moving around. Wei Wuxian made sure he was safe and comfortable.

Lan Zhan was walking around the area, looking at the huts Wei Wuxian had built. "Lan Zhan" Lan Zhan flinched, he turned around and saw Wei Wuxian behind him. "Wei Ying.." Lan Zhan's said.

Wei Wuxian grabbed Lan Zhan's hand with his left hand and placed his right one on Lan Zhan's lower back. "Be careful. It's an uneven path, you might trip" Wei Wuxian moved Lan Zhan off of the uneven path and sat him on a log stump.

"Here, the sun is setting and its getting chilly." Wei Wuxian took off his outer robe and placed it over Lan Zhan's shoulders. Lan Zhan muttered a thank you and turned his head away. He could feel his ears turning red.

Lan Zhan turned his head to Wei Wuxian. "A-Yuan..." Wei Wuxian raised an eyebrow. He then let out an 'oh'. "He's safe, I put him somewhere safe just in case I had died."

"Wen Ning can show you. I need to do something real quick." Lan Zhan stood up. He was confused but didn't question anything. Wen Ning walked over and led him to the place where A-Yuan is.

Wei Wuxian watched as the two walked away. His smile soon faded and he made his way to a cave. He raised his hand and watched as black smoke swirled around him. Wei Wuxian felt pain in his head.

He let out a groan and held his head. He pulled out the amulet and looked at it. I can't risk it. Not while Lan Zhan is here. Wei Wuxian walked over to the place where he had store the amulet before. He placed a bunch of talismans on the amulet and placed it between the rocks.

When it's time, I will get my revenge. He walked out of the cave and saw A-Yuan hugging Lan Zhan's neck. "Rich-gege" A-Yuan giggled. Wei Wuxian smiled at the sight. He made a vow to protect them whatever happens.

Wei Wuxian walks over to the three and places a hand on A-Yuan's head. "Baba!" Wei Wuxian gives a goofy smile making A-Yuan laugh. Lan Zhan gives a small smile at the two.

A-Yuan was laughing and happy. Wen Ning gave a small smile. "Make me grow Baba! Make me grow" A-Yuan giggled. Wei Wuxian smiled and grabbed A-Yuan from Lan Zhan's arms and walked over to the small farm.

Wei Wuxian placed A-Yuan on the dirt and started to pile dirt on A-Yuan's lap. Wei Wuxian smiled as A-Yuan was giggling and moving his hands side to side. Lan Zhan watched the two.

Lan Zhan felt pain. It was subtle but it was there. He bit his bottom lip and gripped his robe. He sat on a small stump. "Lan Zhan is everything okay?" Wei Wuxian quickly stood up and walked over to Lan Zhan.

He bent down and held Lan Zhan's hands. "Is it your wound?" Lan Zhan shook his head. He bit bottom lip so hard that it started bleeding. "Hey hey, stop that. If your wound hurts then I'll get some medicine" Wei Wuxian motioned Wen Ning to go get the medicine.

"I was hoping your wound would be completely healed by now." Wei Wuxian took off the robes and bandage. "It's healed.." Wei Wuxian rolled his eyes at Lan Zhan's statement. "You fuddy duddy. It's not healed if you feel pain" Wei Wuxian had finished applying medicine and wrapped the bandage back up.

He knows that the bandage isn't required as much but he likes to take precautions. A-Yuan was watching the whole thing, confused. Wei Wuxian fixed Lan Zhan's robe and helped him stand up.

"Few more days than it should be completely healed" Lan Zhan nodded. A-Yuan pushed the dirt off of him and ran to Lan Zhan and hugged his leg. "Is Rich-gege okay?" A-Yuan asked.

"He's gonna be okay" Wei Wuxian bent down and rubbed A-Yuan's head. "Baba I'm hungry.." A-Yuan rubbed his stomach. "Wei-gongzi...we're running low on food" Wen Ning said. Wei Wuxian stood up and crossed his arms.

"I can't go into town cause I'm wanted everywhere." Lan Zhan picked up A-Yuan and held him in his arms. "I can go" He said. Wei Wuxian looked at him and shook his head. "No." Wei Wuxian was not gonna let his soulmate waltz right into town.

"Wei-gongzi, we have a cloak he can wear and different robes he can change in too." Wen Ning chimed in. Wei Wuxian thought about it. He was worried people might recognize him. He let out a sigh and uncrossed his arms.

"Fine." A-Yuan giggled. "Can I come too" He asked Lan Zhan. Lan Zhan nodded and A-Yuan cheered. Wei Wuxian smiled at the two. "Alright you two, let's get you some new clothes." Both Wen Ning and Wei Wuxian walked to a hut with Lan Zhan and A-Yuan behind them.

They walked in the biggest hut there. Wen Ning grabbed a light brown cloak while Wei Wuxian grabbed his extra robes. "I don't know about A-Yuan. There aren't small enough robes." Wei Wuxian said, handing his robes to Lan Zhan.

"I can sew some up for him" Lan Zhan said. Wei Wuxian looked at him weirdly. "You can sew?" Lan Zhan looked away, his ears turning red. He grabbed the robes and walked out of the hut.

Wei Wuxian let out a small laugh. He grabbed A-Yuan and followed Lan Zhan. He wasn't able to enter the hut cause Lan Zhan refused to let him answer. Wei Wuxian sat outside of the hut and pouted.

Mean Lan Zhan. He thought, his chin in his palm as he pouted.

╰ → Another Chapter is finished!! I know Lan Zhan doesn't sew but I thought I would make him able too. He learned from his mom who sew him a bunny toy when he was little. But anyways, I hope you enjoyed this chapter.
