•••Kid's P.O.V•••

I couldn't bear to stay inside. I walked along the railing, lost in my thoughts. "Who are you?" I whispered to myself.

It's full moon. The stream was reflecting the moonlight, making everything around glow. I let myself rest on the deck.  As soon as I closed my eyes, the smiling face of the girl appeared. And my eyes shot open.

What is happening with me!

She's nothing but given me trouble since the first day. Getting rid of her might have been the nicest idea. How foolish...

Suddenly a crunching sound startled me. I looked where the sound came from. I saw the door to my cabin open. And there she stood, the girl - Hana.

"Well, well, looking for trouble again?", voice came out almost teasing. A smirk smeared over my face as my gaze locked her's.

•••Hanmee's P.O.V•••

I couldn't sleep.

Kid must've gone some place else to sleep as he didn't stay here tonight. I thought.

I decided to take this chance. Going out of this room might give me a sense of reality, so I thought and went for the door. Just as I opened it and took a step outside, my gaze followed the dark figure. Eustass Kid. He was sitting on the deck. He also looked my way and snapped, "Well, well, looking for trouble again?", making me regret my decision.

I could feel how he was excited about this. He didn't expect me leaving the room at night when everyone was deep in slumber.

I cleared my throat and casually said, "I couldn't fall asleep, it was suffocating there. So I wanted to come out and admire the moon, perhaps?"  I abruptly finished.

"Are you questioning your reply?", he asked with a mocking tone.

I nervously let out a laugh.

He chuckled seeing my puzzled self.

"Admire the moon, huh?" he asked, more likely mocked, raising an eyebrow. "What a noble reason to sneak out."

I could feel my eyes flickered with uncertainty, but I quickly masked it with defiance. "I'm not sneaking out. I have as much right to be here as you."

Do I?

What nonsense you're spitting Hanmee!

"Is that so?" Kid replied, pushing off the railing and taking a step towards me. "Then why do you look like a kid caught stealing cookies?" asked in a mischievous tone, grinning to himself.

I crossed my arms over my chest, lifting my chin defiantly. "Maybe because you're treating me like one. I'm your prisoner, so what I said just now should make sense." Hearing my response he halted in his steps. Seeing that I decided to lengthen the conversation, thinking that it might not be a bad idea if I could use this chance to learn about him a little.  "What's your excuse for being out here?" I asked this time with much more confidence, "It's not good for your health to be up so late, after all, you do a lot of work."

Like I give a damn!

"My my! Kitty's suddenly got her spirit back!" he stated.

I didn't react to it, rather walked and stood near the railing and eyed the stream. It won't bring me good and it wasn't something to react on anyway. Soon I would leave this shit hole.

He shrugged, glancing back at the moonlit stream. "Couldn't sleep either. Figured the night air might help clear my head," only to my surprise, he responded.
