 "You can give me precious things in exchange for y/n's soul," the Devil God proposed. Finally, Jungkook felt a glimmer of hope. "I will give you anything," he said earnestly.

"Not anything. Only your most precious possessions. Choose quickly. If they hold enough value, I will return her soul to you. If not, then her soul will remain separated from her body," the Devil God explained, awaiting Jungkook's decision.

Jungkook looked at her face, then looked at the devil. He made her lie on the ground carefully. “I'm ready to sacrifice my power,” he said, making the devil shocked. “Why would you want to sacrifice the power when others are dying to be like you?” the devil asked.

Jungkook sighed. This power brings but bad fate,My love, my power, I now state. Extra things, I do not need,For love's true power is my creed. I saw the love in my arms die.Even with power, I could not defy it. What's the use of power's might,When my love is out of sight? When y/n is not there, What's the worth in power's snare? Jungkook said.

“Okay, I'm convinced, but even after I snatch your power, maybe it will go to someone else. You will live your life as a normal person,” the devil said and started to suck Jungkook's power. He groaned, and his body started to fly. He screamed and clenched his jaw; it was unbearable. After sucking his power, Jungkook fell down beside her. “My task is complete, and I already returned her soul. She will wake up soon,” the devil said and disappeared. Jungkook took a breath, his eyes were closing, and his ears were numb because of the process. All his energy was drained. He began to close his eyes while Jimin and Taehyung ran toward them to help.

“Does it look good?” y/n asked, trying on a new outfit, while Jungkook smiled and held her waist before smooching her whole face. “My love, you always look good,” he said, also caressing her belly. “I can’t believe how far we’ve come. I can’t wait to see our baby,” Jungkook said, smiling widely, making her giggle. “Just a few months more,” y/n said, freeing herself and walking in another direction.  “Where are you going marshmallow?” Jungkook asked. “Kitchen, babe. I’m hungry,” y/n said.

“You always get hungry easily. Wait, I’m coming. Don’t do anything or touch anything,” Jungkook said. “I’m waiting,” she yelled. Jungkook smiled and looked at the mirror, seeing his reflection frown. “Your future is waiting for you: you, your wife, and the baby,” Jungkook said to his reflection. “It’s confusing, just Wake up. She’s waiting for you,” Jungkook said and ran from the room, leaving his reflection behind. “She’s waiting for me. I have to wake up,” he said, closing his eyes.

“Jungkook, are you hearing me? Babe, are you hearing?” The sound echoed in his ears as he started to open his eyes slowly, only to see the doctor’s face very close to him. He groaned and pushed the doctor away. “Stay away,” he said, hiding his head, which was throbbing with pain. 

Suddenly, a warm hand held his face. He looked at the person and saw it was y/n, whose eyes were teary as she cupped his face. “Marshmallow,” Jungkook mumbled. She then threw herself into his arms. “I miss you. Finally, you woke up. You don’t know how much you scared me,” she mumbled while crying continuously. With one hand, Jungkook caressed her back. “It’s okay, love. Look, I’m fine,” he said, but she didn’t stop and held him even closer…

Suddenly, Jimin and others entered the room. “Finally, you woke up,” Jimin said. “Why is everyone so shocked and tense? It’s only been a day since I lost consciousness,” Jungkook said. Jimin sighed, realising Jungkook didn't know the full story. “It’s not just one day, idiot. You’ve been unconscious for a month,” Mr. Jeon said. Jungkook frowned. “How? I mean, it feels like—” he struggled to find the words.
