Chapter 12

During the day the gourd had moving on after their lunch break, but when night fall came they started to set up Camp for the night.

Crescent and Duke are setting up the tents as the boys are making the fire. While Glamorous is laying on the ground watching them closely.

Tom is looking at the gourd an question in his mind.

"Hey guys who is getting dinner tonight?" Tom asked them.

Everyone looks up from what they were doing looking at Tom.

"I'll go, and Crescent if you want to come with me?" Duke said, and asked Crescent looking at her.

Crescent looks at Duke thinking about the request. Thinking if she should accept, or decline the offer. After an bit of thinking Crescent decided her answer.

"Sure I'll go with you, and with two of us we could bring back more food to last for morning too." Crescent said.

Duke smiles happy to hear that Crescent accepted her offer to come with her.

"Great let's grab some hunting gear, and then we can head out." Duke said.

Crescent nods her head in agreement with Duke.

They walk over to the hunting gear, and hunting supplies.

Duke grabs the bow, and some arrows.

Crescent grabs an Knife, and a hand Gun.

"Okay let's go." Crescent said.

"Make sure to be careful you two." Anubis said worried they might get hurt, but mostly for Crescent.

Crescent blushing an tiny light Pink color on her cheeks hearing Anubis's voice telling them to be careful seeing he is worried for them worried for her.

Duke smiles at Anubis.

"Don't worry Anubis we'll be just fine. After all I'm an Rogue and Crescent is an very powerful Wizard." Duke said smiling being her cheerful self, but deep down she was scared to go alone.

"Okay if you say so." Anubis said.

Both Duke and Crescent leave the Camp heading into the Forest.

Glamorous looks at Tom and Anubis. She watches Anubis walk away to get more fire-wood. Glamorous walks over to Tom to talk to him.

"Tom now is our chance to talk to Anubis." Glamorous said whispering.

Tom nods at Glamorous.

"So Anubis can we talk to you about something?" Glamorous asked.

Anubis smiles looking at Glamorous wondering what she wanted to talk about?

"Sure what is it that you wish to talk about?" Anubis asked.

"About you're feelings for Crescent." Tom said.

When Anubis is about to talk back, but Glamorous stops him before he could.

"Don't you dare say you don't like her cause I can see lies, and you always lie that you don't have feelings for her, so don't lie it won't work this time." Glamorous said.

Anubis is quite not saying one word. He won't even look Tom and Glamorous in the eye either.

Tom sighs seeing how stubborn his best friend is being. Seeing how quite he is, and how he refuses to talk to him and Glamorous anymore.

"Anubis you can't just ignore us, and stay silent. It isn't going to stop this conversation." Glamorous said.

"I'm with Glamorous on this partner. You can't just keep ignoring you're feelings for Crescent." Tom said.

Anubis glares them down in anger being on defense now.

"I Don't Have Feelings For Her! She Is Just An Friend Nothing More!" Anubis yells in anger having annoyance in his tone of voice too.

Tom glares back at Anubis.

"Anubis Would You Quit! You're Being More Stubborn Than An Bat Bull!" Tom said in his own annoyance in his tone of voice.

Tom is getting very very very annoyed with how his best buddy is acting right now, and it's pissing him off.

"Well both you and Glamorous need to lay off." Anubis said.

"Anubis you can't just keep ignoring you're feelings for Crescent. You need to accept them." Glamorous said.

Glamorous will do whatever it takes to get Anubis to accept his feelings for Crescent. The last thing she wants is Crescent overhearing this, and then getting her heart broken because of this. Especially all because Anubis wants to be stubborn about his feelings. She glares him down.

"Anubis you need to stop acting like an child, and grow up." Glamorous said hissing at him.

Anubis is shocked by what Glamorous said to him, but right when he opens his mouth to speak back to her Crescent and Duke came back having two mid-sized Horned Squirrels.

Tom, Glamorous and Anubis stop their arguing, so Crescent didn't hear what they were saying at all.

Duke and Crescent saw how quite they are.

"We got two mid-sized Horned Squirrels." Duke said.

"Good let's start cooking them." Glamorous said acting like everything is normal like her, Tom and Anubis weren't just in an middle of an argument just now.

"Glamorous is right let's get cooking after all we need to eat." Tom said acting normal seeing what Glamorous is doing.

Anubis nods as well staying quite not saying an word to anyone.

Crescent saw how quite Anubis is being. She has an feeling like something is wrong, but she doesn't know what it is, or what it could be that made him, so quite.

The gourd cooked the meat as they eat their dinner, and once their done they go to bed.

Well well it seems Tom and Glamorous were having trouble with Anubis. It seems no matter what Tom and Glamorous said Anubis would not break, or admit his feelings for Crescent. It also seems that Glamorous will make it her solemn duty that Crescent doesn't get hurt by Anubis because she knows Crescent has feelings for Anubis. The conversation didn't go the way Glamorous and Tom wanted it. Maybe they'll have better luck with talking with Crescent when they do that, and let's hope it does go better with Crescent than the one with Anubis. The gourd even had their last Camping rest during the night. Once in the morning they should be at Lostheart Kingdom. What will happen when they get there? What will they find out?
