Before entering the barber shop, Dong Ci had long hair that went past her waist, black and straight, matching her delicate face, she had a kind of classical beauty.

After her hair was cut, Dong Ci tilted her head and looked at herself in the mirror, her hair fluttering, and she always felt a little uncomfortable.

"Excuse me, can you pierce my ears here?"

Two little girls who looked like junior high school students walked in, and one of them asked in a low voice. "Auntie, I want to pierce my ears."

"Sure." The barber aunt patted the chair next to her and said with a smile. "If you want to pierce, sit down, I'll go get the ear piercing gun."

"Will it hurt?" The little girl took two steps forward hesitantly, but she didn't dare to sit down. "I'm afraid of the pain."

"Hey, I've told you so many times, it doesn't hurt, it really doesn't hurt at all." The little girl who came with her pushed her forward and pointed to her ears. "Look at how many holes I have in my ears. If it hurts, would I dare to do it?"

Dong Ci, who was combing her hair, paused. She could clearly see from the mirror that the little girl still had several earrings on her ears. As if she had thought of something, she turned her head and said to the hairdresser. "Auntie, I want to do it too."

"You want to do it too?" Zhang Yiyi, who was originally playing with her phone, raised her head and asked in surprise. "You're not afraid of pain."

"Wow, sister, are you going to do it too?" After hearing Dong Ci say that she also wanted to pierce her ears, one of the little girls leaned towards her and said shyly. "How about you do it first, sister? I'll think about it."

"Tsk, you coward." The little girl's companion curled her lips and said with some disgust. "It's just two hits, why are you so scared?"

Even the girl younger than her didn't feel any pain, so it shouldn't hurt that much, right?

Dong Ci saw that the barber had already come with the machine, so she breathed a sigh of relief and sat on the swivel chair. As soon as she sat down, her originally calm heart suddenly started pounding.

Seeing that the barber had already picked up the machine, Dong Ci's heartbeat quickened, clenched her fists and quickly closed her eyes.

It doesn't hurt at all, it doesn't hurt at all, Dong Ci kept comforting herself in this way, until -

  'Snap! '

A burning pain came from her ears, and Dong Ci couldn't help but screamed in pain. She paused for a while, only to find that the pain in her ear not only did not subside, but it became more and more painful.

"It hurts so much." Dong Ci couldn't stand the pain anymore. She grabbed the armrest of the swivel chair helplessly and said without thinking. "Why don't you just pierce this one? I don't want to pierce the other ear."

Seeing that Dong Ci's tears were about to burst out, the little girl who had been watching beside her took a step back in fear, and pulled up the little girl next to her and said in a loud voice. "You still say it doesn't hurt, but that sister is about to cry in pain."

"It's okay, it's just a moment." The barber quickly held down Dong Ci who wanted to get up, and while she didn't react, he pressed the machine against her other ear. As the second sound rang, Dong Ci screamed in pain.

This time she screamed not only because of the pain, but also because of the fear in her heart.

"Ahhh, I don't want to get pierced anymore, I don't want to get pierced anymore!" The little girl seemed to be frightened by Dong Ci's reaction. She ignored her companions' persuasion and dragged her out.

"Hey? You don't want to get pierced anymore!"

"Why should I? Let's go! I don't want to be killed by the pain!"

Dong Ci bit her lip to calm down. Just when she wanted to turn around and call the little girl, she saw two people running very fast. Before she could say anything, the two people were already far away from the barber shop.

Dong Ci was helpless. In fact, she wanted to tell the little girl that it wouldn't hurt that much the second time.

The temperature on the earlobe was very high, as if it was burned by fire. Following the mirror in front of her, Dong Ci could clearly see that the two earlobes were red. She wanted to reach out and touch them, but she was afraid of the pain, so she put her hand down again.
