Paimon tapped her little foot impatiently mid-air for Traveler in the little teapot, peeking out occasionally to see if he had come back yet.

It was midnight. It's been an hour or two since she had checked up on Traveler. And it was in the late afternoon when he had first left for the Hot Springs.

" 'I'll be back soon' he said. Soon my butt!," Paimon repeated mockingly. An exasperated look plastered on her little face.

Though she would have went back to sleep, she felt safer when Traveler was around. That way, if she ever got ambushed, the victorious Traveler would be there to be her meat shiel— I mean, protector.

"Ugh, stinky old Traveler, always leaving Paimon to deal with the hard stuff!"

Angrily, Paimon took the map out from her pocket dimension. She was planning on heading over to the Hot Springs once more, to teach that Traveler a lesson for lying!

.. Until her eyes lingered over the description, and before she knew it, she was reading about the informative history of this legendary site.

Formed by the Geo Archon during the Archon War, It was formed when one of the Rex Lapis's smaller meteorites happened to crash there, creating the crater. The meteor incidentally eroded away over time, but the people were against it being empty and a reminder of the War. And so, with their content heart full of these wishes, they made it become recreational site: The Rè de Springs. Though it may not be as popular as it once was, you could always visit for relief or for fun!

This is not real info on the game by the way, just something I made up from the spot. Cough, cough.

Paimon really only skimmed over that historic part of the brochure. However, something else caught her attention. "Hmm, it says here that every 300 years, Rè de Springs' mist becomes magical..," she read aloud to herself. Paimon hummed inquisitively.

"People who inhale a huge amount of the mist go into a daze. The daze which makes the person be more honest on how they truly feel toward others and act on it."

"It seemed good at first, but later proved to be troublesome. The Rex Lapis, hearing the people's cries for help, he limited the mist only around the Hot Springs so it doesn't spread." Paimon was starting to get overwhelmed with the amount of words being processed in her brain.

"And uhm.. It is not recommended to go on.. these dates.. XX/XX/XX and XX/XX/XX, and so forth." Paimon narrowed her eyes at the dates. "Hey, wait, isn't that today?"

The white creature thought back on earlier, when she had visited Aether at the Hot Springs. He seemed fine, though she on the other hand was practically choking on air. Despite that factor, there was no information about it being harmful..

"Oh hey, now that I'm thinking about Traveler again.. WHERE THE HECK IS HE!?!?"

Paimon floated out of the teapot to check once and for all, but stopped upon seeing Xiao at their camp. He was carrying Aether bridal-style, who was only wearing his underwear. Small bruises tattered his body along his former battle scars and a towel messily draped over his slender body.

"Waaah! What happened to Traveler?!"

Xiao was caught off guard from Paimon's booming shriek. He holds Aether close to him protectively. ".. He's fine, he just fell asleep at the hot springs."

Paimon glided over to Traveler's side, her gaze full of worry as the adeptus carried him over to the Serenitea Pot. Since Xiao was an invited guest, he had no trouble entering. Though navigating through the huge mansion was a challenge, they finally found his room and gently placed him onto his bed as to not awake him.
