Everyone released breaths of relief as they saw onscreen Edgeshot pulled onscreen Mineta out of the water only to free Toothless.

Mineta: Thanks for the help sir.

Edgeshot: I guess my counterpart had a both a change of heart and a realization.

Yaoyorozu: Of course, Toothless has the potential to turn the tide in the Vikings favor.

Midoriya: Toothless has the speed to overwhelm the Red Death. When that happens maybe the Red Death might go someone else.

Bakugo: You're dead, you overgrown lizard!

Tokage: Let's see a dragon fight!

Toothless burst out of the water with Shinya in tow. Minoru looks on in awe as Toothless lands ashore, releasing Shinya and setting him down. Their attention turns to the Red Death, who is still raging. Shinya gives way as Toothless hips on top of a rock, raises his wings and snorts at Minoru as if to say "Let's go!"

Minoru: (nods understandingly) You got it bud!

Sato: He understood him?

Koda: Well, Mineta did train him so it's understandable if they know what the other is trying to say.

Tokage: (jealous) So cool! The bond between man and dragon!

Asui: Go for it, Mino!

Mineta: Leave it me and Toothless, Time to tag in!

Minoru mounts Toothless and prepares to take off but Shinya stops him by grabbing his arm.

Shinya: (regretfully) Minoru. I'm sorry... for everything.

Minoru: Yeah... me too.

Shinya: You don't have to go up there.

Endeavor: It's sounds like he doesn't want Mineta to go, because he might lose his life.

Mineta: To be honest Endeavor sir, we have to risk our lives to ensure everyone has chance to see tomorrow.

Kirishima: As Crimson Riot says "A hero may fear death, but a hero fears someone else's death more."

Midoriya: We all knew the risk when we signed up for UA.

Bakugo: And never once have we thought of backing down.

Mineta: We will go beyond...

Class 1A: Plus Ultra!

Quetzal: That's the spirit! Back to it!

Minoru: We're Vikings. It's occupational hazard. (Smiles)

Kirishima: Our point exactly!

Tetsutetsu: We should have more joint training together.

Aizawa: My thoughts exactly.

Midnight: Maybe, you and Vlad should mix the teams to be half 1A and half 1B.

Nezu: I agree with that idea.

Shinya: (smiles back) I'm proud to call you my son.

Edgeshot: And I'm proud to have you as an intern.

Mineta: (smiles warmly) Thank you, sir. I won't disappoint!

Minoru: Thanks Dad

As Shinya lets go of Minoru's arm, Minoru spur on Toothless to take off. Invigorated with Shinya's faith in them, they take to the sky with Shinya watching.
