CHAPTER SIX:
THE KILLERS
THE NIGHT CONTINUED as the Macher household would be loud and then quiet as many of the teenagers had left already after learning about the new death of their principal. Only a couple of vehicles could be seen outside of the house, though they were both parked and pretty much empty as everyone was inside.Stu's parents bedroom was quiet, other than the sound of quiet voices being heard as the two teenagers sat on the edge, talking about anything. Y/n leaned her elbows on her knees as she glanced around the room while she and Billy talked. The two had agreed that there was a lot to talk about, especially after what had happened.
As Billy was talking, the Carpenter girl glanced over her shoulder to look at some of the paintings on the wall when her eyes stopped on a red phone that sat on one of the bedside tables, completely unused with a hairbrush sitting beside it. She wasn't even focused on what Billy had been saying, curiosity coursing through her.
"Who'd you call?" Y/n suddenly questions, receiving a confused hum. "Well, I don't know, when you're arrested you're allowed one phone call, so I was just curious-- who'd you call?"
"Called my dad." Billy replies after a moment.
Y/n shakes her head. "No, Sheriff Burke called your dad. I saw him."
Billy sighs. "Yeah, but when I called I didn't get an answer."
Thinking over it for a moment, the girl hums as she stands up to her feet, moving towards the window to stare out of it and at the trees. At the sound of this, Billy froze as his eyes looked to the back of her head suspiciously.
"You don't still think it was me, do you?" Billy seriously asks.
Y/n chuckles, turning to face him. "No. I was just thinking, if it were you it'd be a very clever way to throw me off track. You know, using your one phone call to call Sid so we wouldn't think it was you."
"Really?" Billy mutters, standing up to lean closer. "What do I have to do to prove to you that I'm not a killer?"
The two stare at one another just as the door behind Billy opens and someone was entering. Y/n noticed when the person was right behind Billy, frantically stumbling backwards as she yelled out 'oh my god', only making Billy more annoyed as he waited for her answer. However, the girl was quick to warn who was behind him.
Billy turned around just in time for the murderer to begin stabbing him when they raised the knife, wearing the usual ghostface costume. Y/n let out a scream as the murderer stabbed her friend while she watched in terror. Billy let out many grunts and groans of pain, hunching over with each stab.
