A loud, and annoying bell ringed outside as a familiar voice yelled at everyone to wake up. I stirred under my new beds comfortable sheets as I groaned... I don't wanna wake upppp. I rolled onto my side as I looked at the wardrobe next to my bed. I slowly got out from under my covers and swung my feet over the side of the bed. I yawned and then stretched my arms up high. Does sleeping in a mortal-like body like this always feel so good? I glanced around the room lazily, still in my boxers since I'm pretty sure the cabin doesn't have any pajamas anyways.I stood up and walked towards the wardrobe as it mainly just consisted of empty hangers and like 20 pairs of the same red robe. I took the red robe and slipped it on but then I noticed a black piece of clothing shoved in the corner of the closet. I took it out curiously. It was a black leather jacket with little spikes on the shoulder pads. Now that's more like it. I grinned as I put the jacket on. Not only did it cover up the cuts better but it also just looks better, now I don't look like every other incel in this cult.
I walked over to my bathroom as I lazily swung the door open, the scent of lavender still coating the bathroom from last night. I looked at the mirror as I noticed a small cut across my face right below my eye. I can't believe that lamb managed to do so much damage, Its truly pathetic of me. I grimaced and quickly left the bathroom. I should go to the church for the sermon or whatever.
I walked through the cult grounds on the cobble pathways, I made my way to the church as a small bunny woman stood in front of it, the same bunny from yesterday as the gold ring floats above her head with ease. I look past her, I don't wish to socialize with anyone, everyone here is stupid. I was about to make my way into the church but she abruptly stopped me as I grumbled in response. She stood in front of me, her fur a smooth cream color, her eyes a bland green and she smelt of sunflowers, wow, she is gonna be so fucking annoying I can already tell..
"Helloooo!!Good morning and of course, welcome!" The bunny woman enthusiastically spoke, her voice high pitched. Its to early in the morning for this.. "I'm Thear, whats your name?" I scoffed at the question, 'whats my name?' god what is this? She must really be that dumb.
"The One Who Waits." I say blankly. I refuse to encourage people to call me Narinder, they have no right. Thear hesitates as she continues to smile like it almost hurts now.
"Oh... Uhm I mean more so your actual name." She says awkwardly in a sweet tone. I scoff in response and push past her. I hear her audibly sigh in frustration as I walk into the church. If she thinks I'll just give her permission to use my name like that she is more of a fool than I already thought.
The church has stained glass on the inside and it looks a bit mesmerizing as any church should. This one is filled with colors of black and red though. The other followers stand in lines in front of the stage as I stray off into the far corner of the room, not wanting to associate with them. Disgusting little pawns..
The lamb comes into view on the stage, graciously waving to their cult members with a sickeningly sweet smile that makes my stomach turn...Eughh. They preach the beliefs of the cult and speak of me as I resist the urge to tear their face off. I'm not supposed to be reduced to a follower at the Lambs feet, I am more, I was the god of death.
The sermon ends after what felt like ages. The rest of the followers exit the church as I stayed standing in the far corner of the church, glaring at the lamb. The lamb walked over to me, they seemed almost excited this time. It was rare to see a genuine emotion from the thing..
"Hello, Nari!~ I was afraid you wouldn't show." The lamb says playfully with an excited tone as they chuckle, most would think their laugh was like music and created a feeling of bliss but it just felt sickening. "I see you met Thear, what do you think?" The lamb questioned. Why do they seem so stupidly interested?
I let out an annoyed sigh as I looked at the lamb, glare apparent. "Annoying, to happy, persistent and reminded me of you... So shes just 'peachy' " I said with an annoyed tone as I rolled my eyes.
"Aww, thinking of me already?" The lamb teased with a playful glint.
I shot a glare at them as I loudly scoffed. "What? Don't get the wrong idea stupid lamb, I hate your guts more than the Old Faith themselves." The lamb had been playful in the past even as my follower, then it was amusing now its infuriating. At least then it was actually fun.
The lamb gave a knowing smirk about something as I felt the need to question-
"I should introduce you to your new job now, shouldn't I?" The lambs voice interrupted my thoughts as I groaned at the memory of my new job, farming, just great. "Come along, Narinder, we don't have all day." The lamb pressed as I unwillingly followed them out of the church while grumbling.
I need to keep a close eye on the lamb, if I want to escape properly.
