It was my first day to work and here I am still sleeping on my bed it's 7 am and I somehow struggled and got out of my bed.
Ella was still in deep sleep and she is having an important interview! I forcefully woke her up and started getting ready.
I was pretty nervous, I just hope I don't do any embarrassing stuff on my very first day.
I Started heading to the office in metro its the only thing I can go in under my budget. So I had to start faster to travel that far distance.
Finally I reached on time thankfully if I didn't again Mr. Arrogant would win on me.
I directly entered into Shawn's cabin and he was just glaring at me. wow he's angry on me at very first moment itself I enter.
"You might have talent but you know what's more important here? Basic manner. You do know you entered into a COO's cabin without even asking permission not even a knock."
woof I'm doomed! "I'm sorry I though I'm gonna be the regular person from now so there's no need for that. But it's ok I'll not repeat it again!"
why don't he talk something I'm gonna die with anxiety. "Ok come have a seat I'm gonna explain your works and responsibilities" I started listening
I started working they provided my own cabin opposite to his.
Shawn might look arrogant but he's a nice guy I like his nature and perfection. He do get angry on people but he do apologies or regret in later. I liked him since the day I saw him he's a different guy he has all the qualities I ever wanted in a guy. He's like dream boy I know it's cringe.
I completed my first task I couldn't wait to show it to him. His cabin was empty I saw her assistant " Mr. Miller is in the meeting" wow what I am I suppose to do now. I was just goofing around the cabins to explore the whole building. After few minutes my phone started ringing oh my....It's him I picked up instantly
Shawn: Where are you?
Veronica: I completed my work I heard you were in meeting so I just came out for fun!
Shawn: It's not a fun place but whatever is break time I'm heading to the dining hall if you don't wanna get lost in this building come with me.
Veronica: Lol I'm on my way!
I went straight to his cabin and I started following him to dining hall. we entered and I was lost in the view I've never seen such a huge office dining hall.
He was going to take a seat in front " Not in front please lets sit in back it's comfortable with less people and it's beside the window with wonderful view!" I begged him
" You are a backbench brat" I laughed and sat in the back.
I couldn't bear the pin drop silence so I started the conversation again "So what's your age?"
He looked surprised " I'm 25. I know you'd probably be wondering how am I a COO at this age.. It's because of my dad I had do this work" I looked confused "what are you really interested in? "
"To be honest I don't know too I just I don't know if I can be a good CEO what if k do mistakes I'd damage my families pride! "
"No you rock as COO itself CEO is nothing hard for you. You have the talent and nature to handle it Shawn".
I regretted calling him shawn am I even allowed to call him like that?. I think he sensed my concern in my expression he smiled and said " Don't worry you can call me Shawn I don't mind"
I smiled "yay ok can we be friends ? " He glared again.
"Okay but dont take it as advantage" "Sure" I said in happiness.
" So what are your hobbies? " I asked him
"I don't have much hobbies I do my gym everyday, I play football sometimes and watch movies. What about you?" Wow he plays football
"I have too many cricket, badminton, movies, tv shows, books, games etc.. " He laughed
" See what I said yesterday was right you have extracurricular talent more.
" Ugh.. "Yes and I love it ". He smiled and finished our lunch and headed back to work
