I immediately headed back to my house.
I was so pissed at sam how could he not tell me.
He even know who veronica is but still he questioned me about her that day.
Couldn't he just say me she's his student.
I was mad and I was in my room then sam showed up
"Well hello Mr. secret man" he glared
"look I know your mad at me but I just didn't wanted anyone to know it except me and ella we still don't know what bond we share we need time to progress it. I hope you understand."
I didn't know what to say "Come on sam I'm your brother and we share everything with each other atleast I do. You should've atleast said me."
"Shawn I'm sorry ok I'm not gonna hide anything from you ok?"
I was still mad "Yeah whatever"
After an hour I got text from veronica.
Later I started watching a movie and drifted off to sleep.
It's been 4 days since the incident and my office seems boring to me all of sudden it was normal before but since when she started coming it was like a comedy show to me. but that she isn't here there is no fun and I feel my regular office boring.
She was calling me. Wow speak of the devil!
Veronica: Hey what are you doing. Wait lemme guess.. Your missing me.
Shawn: Absolutely now my cabin is peaceful now without any noise and mess and I'm happy.
Veronica: I can't let you be peaceful. I've decided I'm coming today
Shawn: Ok keep bluffing
Veronica: Wait and watch.
This little sassy thing ugh. She never fails to get smile in my face.
After an hour I saw her entering into my cabin. What the bloody hell!
"Hey Mr. Arrogant I told you right wait and watch" she's crazy
"Veronica are you out of your mind why did come this far it's not even a week"
"It's ok I can walk properly now and also I'm so bored please don't send me back" She pouted
"Ok fine as your wish." She smiled "You are free right?" yes I am obviously now she's gonna start gossiping with me about everyone. But it's fun to listen it from her.
"Why don't you say anything always I'm the one who talks don't you have any gossips? friends, family etc?" I sighed
"I mind my own business unlike you" She glared.
"Ok say something about your family you don't say me anything I didn't even know you have a brother and that's sam who is my lecturer and my best friend's boyfriend."
" Fine you wanna know about my family as you know my dad is the CEO the most Busy man ever he was so close to me in my childhood but when he became the CEO he got more pride he left stopped caring about or spending time with us all he want is more money and higher position. My mother is a very kind person that's the reason she can still tolerate him she's very loving. Coming to Sam he is my elder brother My dad actually wanted him to get into this company to continue his legacy but sam turned out to be very different person and he didn't go in my father's path. My father decided to make me what he wanted but I'm sure even if I become the CEO in few years I'm not gonna be like him I'll never turn like him."
She was staring at me with her already big eyes opening them even more with concern
"You are such a strong and matured guy reminds me of my dad!" She said sadly which raised concern in me.
"Now you say about your family." She looked surprised for what I asked.
"Well I'm the only daughter to my parents they are very loving and funny, specially my dad he is multitalented, practical, well educated, matured. He loves me so much obviously I'm the only child lol. I'm so close with him since childhood and mom is loving. Every day in our home is funny. You know how funny I'm right both my parents are too so imagine how funny it would be." I smiled
"You miss them?" she nodded
"Alright no bad mood now Let's go out now" she said
"Not today I have some work but we'll go out on Monday"
"Ugh ok fine I'm leaving then" she said and left.
I feel bad for not being able to go with her or atleast drop her but I was some stupid work which I have to finish today.
