CHAPTER- 21 HOSPITAL

-SHAWN-

I feel like my world is shattered. She isn't opening her eyes and her blood is all over me.

I felt so terrible as if someone hit me very hard.

I wanted to see her brown orbs stare into mine as she always does I can't believe I let this happen I was supposed to be protecting her but here she is in very bad condition and I feel helpless.

After such a long time we arrived to the hospital she was taken into the emergency ward and I was left alone outside in waiting arena I couldn't stop my tears fall out.

It's all my fault I shouldn't have left her. I should've seen her text night itself I blame myself for everything.

I saw shawn and ella rushing towards me. Ella was so devastated and she didn't utter a word.

"You said you will get her safe didn't you?" She said crying

"This is all my fault I'm sorry" I said still couldn't control my tears

sam came to me and held his hand on my shoulder.

"It's ok shawn everything's gonna be fine. She's a strong women isn't she?" He said

"She's a fighter" I said in low tone.

after few hours We saw the doctor coming out I rushed to her

"Mr. Miller you don't have to worry she's okay now nothing serious she just had a bad concussion by getting hit on her head and she has few bruises on her hands and legs she lost lot of blood so she's so weak she's resting now she might be getting up after sometime"

I felt so relieved

"Can I see her" I asked "Yeah" she said

I entered into the room saw her pale face. Many tubes were connected to her hands she was sleeping peacefully I felt so guilty. I failed to protect her.

It kills me to see her like this I sat in the chair beside her bed.

After sometime I was feeling same touch on my hair caressing it. I woke up and my eyes met my favorite brown orbs finally!

"Miss me? " She said smiling "I won't let you get rid of me that easily"

I smiled and kissed her forehead

"I'm so sorry baby" I said in guilty

"Shawn it's me who have to apologize not you. " She said looking at me

"No I shouldn't have left you like that even after seeing those texts. " I said angrily

"Wait where is he did he escape? " She asked in horror

"He's dead don't worry" I said blankly

She sighed in relief

"He was a psycho" She grinned

"My father talked to me yesterday." I said she looked so happy

"Baby that's such a great news" She said

"Yes and your are the only reason for it thanks to you also he resigned his job so now your talking to the new CEO. Tomorrow is my debut." she gasped

"Oh my god congratulations I cant believe this. You are now promoted from Mr. Arrogant COO to Mr. Sweetheart CEO" I laughed

"Kiss me" she said and reached to her and kissed her gently without hurting her

"So I talked to the doctor you will be discharged tonight" I said and she was so happy.

I'm happy that she's safe and happy.

Ella and Sam entered into the room. Ella immediately hugged her

"Vee I'm so relieved. I was so scared. I'm happy that asshole is dead." she said

"I'm glad your fine veronica or my brother would destroy this building by now" He said laughing

I glared but everyone laughed at me. Huh whatever

After few hours We started traveling back

"You really think you can stay in your hostel like this?" I'm so worried after all this

"Don't worry I can handle anything also I have ella with me so it's fine" she said and smiled

We reached the hostel and I helped her out and placed a kiss on her lips and forehead and she left with ella.

I and sam headed back home
