Florena despised Christmas parties, she grew tired of them to the point where she starting hating Christmas, Especially after her first year at Hogwarts. So many people where giving her judgements looks and unpleasant comments all because she was sorted into Ravenclaw. She had beg to differ, she always wondered why she has to spend the "happiest time of the year" with the most moody people in the whole universe. Every time Christmas came around she tried her best to hide herself, she really hated everyone at these parties.

Luckily for her she wasn't the only pureblood sorted into Ravenclaw. Isla Lestrange had a similar time like Florena did, but she tried harder for people to be pleased with her because her "perfect" brother always showed himself off, he was her families, well everyone's favorite person to walk the room. But she soon stopped trying once she had met Florena. Before they had their friends at Hogwarts they had each other, they where the only ones to treat each other like they belong here, the only family they have had was each other. So after that Christmas parties weren't so bad after all.

It was 1976 𝑫𝒆𝒄𝒆𝒎𝒃𝒆𝒓 23 the night of their annual Christmas party, as soon as Florena woke up she was already dreading the day. But she soon got up and started to get ready for this day.

Her father had picked out a black dress to wear, but it was the same designed dress as the years before. Florena had become really annoyed, why can't he pick out a different styled dress she thought. But in the end that didn't matter to her because she had a gold, sparkling dress in her closet she had bought a few months ago in the summer, to which she was going to wear whether her father liked it or not. It was not like she didn't like the black dress, she just had been really tired of wearing the same designed dress every year. The gold dress made her look very unique and looked really good around her body. She then put her hair in a shiny hidden headband with her straight her. As she checked how to dress looked in the mirror one last time she soon made her way slowly back downstairs.

Florena had a slight frown on her face as she went to find a spot to sit at. She just wants to get this night over with as fast as possible.

"What the hell do you think your wearing Florena Bulstrode??" Her father went over and asked her.

"A dress? Are you blind father?" Florena said with no care in the world.

"Well obviously. What happened to the dress I picked out for you?" Allistair asked.

"It's out of style. I've been wearing the same styled dress for like ten years father, I've decided to make a change for once. It's a dress be thankful that I'm even down here in the first place." Said florena as she tried to walk away but Allistair grabbed her arm and whispered something in her ear.

"Quit being a ungrateful little bitch Florena. I'll let the dress slide. For now. But you be on your best behavior or I swear to-

"Ok whatever fine. Whatever you want just let me go okay." Florena said she took her arm away and looked straight into her fathers eyes.
