*-Amarah's POV-*
I've liked Fyodor as long as I could remember, I wasn't always his bodyguard. We were young and wasted enjoying our high school days getting hungover. Back then, we were as you would call secret lovers. Our relationship was never official, but we would fuck around time to time. Though... It all changed that one night, the night that was supposed to be MY time to shine.
I knew my current position towards him, his protector, but it is all my fault if I am that. I wanted to protect him, I knew he was anemic and that his body was weak. My love for him is like the thousands of stars shining in the sky right now. Full of hopes and dreams.
Back to that night though, it was starting quite well. Everybody dancing and talking in their lavish dresses or suits and sophisticated allure as well as their flamboyant masks radiating across the room. Me following Fyodor around like his loyal puppy, his dark hair flowing behind him making him look ethereal. Everything was perfect, that was all I could ever dream of.
Until that promiscuous woman walking in with her expensive dress walking around in her slutty heels. She caught my one true love's heart, carelessly noticing it. Fyodor kept staring at her as if she a creature going extinct, his purple eyes widening as if he had just seen the most flabbergasting thing.
That vulgar woman looked back at him, as their eyes met, he looked back to where he was walking, not even bothering to check on me. I knew he had fallen head over heels for her, that's when I suddenly heard him talking to Sigma, one of our mates.
"Hey, Sigma, why don't you try and socialize today? I have the perfect target for you." I heard Fyodor say, knowing exactly what he wanted.
"Uhm, I can try, I guess. Who's the 'target'?" Replied Sigma, clearly not up for the idea yet.
I recall feeling like Fyodor clearly knew that sigma wasn't with the plan but kept listening.
"See this ravishing lady over there? You should become her friend! We could use a new friend over here. It's been lonely." My beloved one retorted with a fake disappointment in his face. I kept myself from saying something as the jealousy came boiling in my blood.
I knew it was to get Sigma to feel bad for him, and it worked well, Sigma went to that woman and interacted with her. Though I'm wondering, what is so special about her? What makes her good enough for him? Is it something I lack of? Surely.
As both Sigma and the woman approached us, she was laughing around with him surely having a pleasant conversation. I saw Fyodor tensing up but not showing is as he kept his emotionless face as it was.
"Yō, Dos-Kun, look at that hot chick Sigma's coming towards us with!" I heard Nikolai say with excitement in his eyes.
Fyodor chuckled a bit as I felt a bit out of place at the moment. Was I going to get replaced?
Alongside were now the two individuals who were close to us, I saw the woman slowly backing up behind Sigma as if she was a bit afraid. What a chicken. Before I knew it, they were now in the circle of the friend group as Sigma spoke,
"Greetings guys, I have a bashful woman here, with me. And I'd like to introduce her to everybody in this fantastic friend group." He then pulled her next to him so that we could see her clearly.
Fyodor now cocked a grin; he was probably amused by her shyness. It was a matter of seconds before the (h/c) haired woman began speaking out.
"Hey... My name is y/n, it is nice to meet you all." Her annoying voice spoke out, I truly despised her. My glare was now intense as she saw me but just ignored it, not taking the hint. At least I found out here name, y/n, what a stupid name.
Sigma then introduced us all to her as I was still in my mind, how to make her stay away? It's not because I don't want her to be here, it's because Fyodor was now getting too interested in her. It was enraging me. The way he spoke to her, it wasn't the same way as he did to me. He rolled his r's more seductively with her and would use body language to seduce her.
As Sigma asked her for a dance, she gladly accepted. So, they left, but moments later, approximately thirty minutes later, I was now trying to search for Fyodor, but he was nowhere to be seen. That's when I saw something that utterly broke my heart.
My eyes widened and my heart began to pound hard, he was with her. The same wicked woman from earlier. They were running out of the ballroom with their masks on, heading outside. It was at this moment that something in me awakened, pure jealousy. I wanted to be her, to feel what it was like to be loved by him, Fyodor. What him and I had back away in high school wasn't just a charade, I'm sure it meant more than that. Surely?...
Unless he just toyed with me all this time. No, probably not... I can't think about that now. I'm probably overthinking it!
I couldn't let this slide, I had to at least know where they were going, so I followed them. I would discretely go after them as they stopped nearby a tree, the most beautiful tree I've ever seen.
He now gave her a candy, she took it. Before I knew it, they kissed. I was now utterly shattered. She took the one thing I didn't want to lose, him.
That's when something happened, y/n ate the candy and she collapsed in Fyodor's arms, as if she had just passed out. All I heard was him saying "Good night" but didn't understand the rest. I gasped as I quickly hid back in an alleyway, flabbergasted by the event. Was he kidnapping her?...
I guess it was the case, he had an obsession for her. I'll probably become the other woman.
----------------------END OF CHAPTER----------------------
(Note: Here's a long chapter! I thought about her and thought that she could maybe use some more character development to create some more lore, I know it's a bit out of context for now but trust me it'll be worth it! Song for this chapter is The Other Woman by Lana Del Rey, credits to video owner on yt! See you all next chapter!<3)
