A DATE?

Y/n was at the balcony of her room sipping a tea. Watching her Senior squealing about their man, she also noticed Captain Charlotte in the middle.

"Say Captain do you have something interested in?" One of the seniors asked making their Captain choke her tea.

"I don't have someone in mind" she composted herself wiping her mouth.

"Don't ask Sister Char like that, right Sister Char?" Sol killed the moment protesting about hating man.

"Well I can't blame you, but the Captain has many suitors but doesn't have someone she likes"

Y/n sighed thinking what does romantic love feels? 'Is this Astrum wanted to feel?' she thought while finishing her tea.

When she was about to stand up a bird with a letter was sent in a spatial magic. She opened it and read what it said.

'To Y/n L/n'

I was about to say thank you for saving Sister Lily but sending this letter feels like it wasn't enough. So if you have free time today can i thank you personal at the restaurant, we can meet in front of the fountain at lunch time.

From Yuno.

Y/n look at her seniors talking about something called date?

"You don't know what is date means?"

"It is where two people hang out or eat at the restaurant"

Y/n thought what her seniors said and then look at the letter.

"Is he taking me on a date?"

Y/n look up and took of her robe being ready as her clothes on her daily mission is fancy enough for a date. She usually hid her grimoire at her thighs when she was little because of how thick her skirt dress but this time she just hid it inside her belt.

"It was already 11 am so I have to go"

She took her broom this time and sat on it before flying.

"Sister, I have a date to attend!" She wave goodbye making all her senior and Captain Charlotte blushed.

They squealed. "Y/n has a date?!" They all said simultaneously.

"No, she must have heard about the meaning of date. It must just be something about eating in a restaurant with someone " Charlotte tried to clarify but they deny it.

Y/n sat down at the near bench waiting for someone. All the passer by look tend to look at Y/n, they all have the same reaction but Y/n have her eyes close to relax after all the endless mission.

1 hour has passed Y/n felt a presence beside her making her eyes flutter open.

"Did I make you wait long enough?" Yuno asked, looking up at the sky.

"I am okay with it," Y/n smiled.

"How long did you wait?" Yuno was now confused as he stand up.

"For an hour," Y/n close her eyes again missing the warm presence of the man.

Yuno sighed but composed himself. "Thank you again for saving Sister Lily, if you don't mind, please have lunch with me at the restaurant"

Y/n thought about what her seniors chit chat about. "Is it a date?" She didn't even hesitate to ask.

Yuno's reaction changed from serious into something shock then he smiled. "I guess we can call it a date." Yuno smiled thinking how innocent the girl was.

As they are walking Y/n didn't felt uncomfortable when she held hand with Yuno, but for Yuno he was having a fight inside of him.

"I will pay the bill" Y/n insist after they order.

"No, I invited you so I will pay for it." Yuno said.

This is like a small battle in the restaurant if you are being generous. But afterward Y/n lost as she let Yuno pay for the bill.

The silence starts to grow between them so Y/n start the conversation.

"How was the Golden Dawn?" Y/n asked first.

"Fine" he just replied shortly.

Another round of silence came and Y/n asked another question.

"Did you make a friend?"

This time the question of Y/n make him think hard.

"I made a few friends" he smiled.

Even with how small his smile is she can see them clearly.

"How did you become a Magic Knight?" Yuno started questioning.

"I hate to join the magic knight but the Magic Emperor insisted that I would join the magic knight to be able to join one of the advisers of the Magic emperor"

"You've met the Magic Emperor?" Yuno was taken aback by what she said.

"In fact he is my Godfather"

Another shocked face has shown into Yuno's face.

"He wants me to join the magic knight when I was 10 but I was too young to even know the rules. But then after your grimoire acceptance with Asta, I was asked again but this time I accepted it because I want to discover something "

Yuno nodded wanting Y/n to continue her story. But before she could even continue their food came while the lady waiter tried to flirt with Yuno.

"Can I know your name handsome guy," the lady tried to touch Yuno but Y/n stopped her.

"Flirting with your customer while they are on a date will make your restaurant reputation go down, miss" Y/n calmly said.

"Tch, I don't care. My family is rich so they can just make our reputation go high again"

"From the name of L/n family, you dare to speak to me like that? If you don't want your restaurant to go bankrupt you better listen and know your superior" Y/n used her illegal technique of speaking when she meet an over pride person about their money.

"L-L/N?" The lady bowed down apologetically. "I am sorry for my behavior Lady L/n" she then walked away.

"I didn't know you were a royalty" Yuno looked at the h/c girl in front of him.

"I am sorry for lying when we are at Hage village. I am a Royalty but that doesn't mean I can use my title to deceive lower than me. I am raised to be equal to others not a scale to measure the worth of a person just to look at them highly."

Yuno smiled. He didn't notice how many times he smiled in just one day.

"Let's eat?" Y/n suggested which Yuno nodded.

The day ended up amazing as Yuno took Y/n back in Blue Rose base safely.

"Goodnight Yuno, It felt amazing having a date with you."

"The same goes for you, If you don't mind we can hang out more if we have free time."

Yuno patted Y/n's head on reflex then waving goodbye.

The blue rose members are just watching through their windows watching their little Y/n grow up so fast.
