The Facade of Love

"Hannie, why are you avoiding him?" Joshua asked seeing Jeonghan was avoiding Hyungwon.

"Well, I didn't avoid him." Jeonghan said sipping his orange juice. They were sitting at the cafeteria at lunchtime.

"Common hannie no one knows you better than me." Slapping the older arm slightly Joshua stated.

"I just don't feel like talking to him today." Jeonghan's words seem fake to Joshua. They have been best friends for a long time and no one can understand them other than each other.

But Joshua let it slip without forcing his friend to know the main reason behind that.

"Ok eat quick we have class to attend right." Nodding to Joshua Jeonghan quickly finished his food.

But Joshua smirked 'What do you think I remember nothing. Oh hannie why are you so kind. This world is not for you.' Something was going on inside Joshua's mind.

"Hannie please talk to me once." Hyungwon has been lurking around his boyfriend from the morning. Why? Well, he made a mistake.

The mistake is much bigger than Jeonghan's perspective. Although they have been dating for 6 months, Jeonghan never let Hyungwon touch him in a bad way.

Nor did he let his so-called boyfriend kiss him. Whenever Hyungwon tried to kiss him or asked for more Jeonghan always rejected him. Jeonghan wanted to get married before doing all the things.

And yesterday night something like that happened.

Flashback

The music playing in the background. In the crowd of people, two certain boys are dancing with passion yet in love.

As the music pulsed through the crowded party, Jeonghan and Hyungwon moved in perfect sync, their bodies swaying to the beat. Their eyes locked, and they exchanged a radiant smile, lost in their little world. Hyungwon's hands rested gently on Jeonfhan's hips, and Jeonghan's arms wrapped around Hyungwon's neck, their fingers intertwining.

But as the music intensified, Hyungwon's hands began to wander, his fingers tracing Jeonghan's waist. Jeonghan's smile faltered, and he subtly shifted away, his eyes conveying a gentle warning. Hyungwon's hands didn't hesitate, without respecting Jeonghan's boundaries his hand took place under his clothes.

At this moment, their connection wasn't palpable, their trust and understanding were a beautiful thing to behold which was missing.

Jeonghan's discomfort grew "Let me go, Hyung," Jeonghan protested, his voice laced with unease.

Just then Joshua, appeared beside them, his eyes narrowing at Hyungwon. "Hey, everything okay here?" he asked, his tone laced with concern. Deep inside Joshua knew his best friend is uncomfortable with this man.

Jeonghan hesitated, unsure how to respond. But Joshua's gaze held a knowing glint, as if he'd seen this behavior from Hyungwon.

"Hey, man, we're good," Hyungwon slurred, his drunkenness evident.

Joshua's eyes never left Jeonghan's face. "You sure, Jeonghan? You don't look so sure."

Jeonghan's heart raced as he searched for an answer. What should he answer? He knew Joshua always was against this relation.

"Let's get out of here, Jeonghan," Joshua said, his voice low and urgent. "You don't need this."

"I am fine Joshuji. I-it's just because you are drunk, so imagining things." Yes Joshua really drank but his tolerance is unknown to Jeonghan as the latter never drank.

"Just come with me." And with that, Joshua pulled Jeonghan away from Hyungwon's grip, leading him out of the bar, leaving Hyungwon with a angry reaction.

As they walked, Jeonghan felt a mix of emotions: gratitude towards Joshua, confusion about his feelings, and a growing sense of doubt about his relationship with Hyungwon.

"Thanks, Joshuji." Jeonghan said finally, his voice barely above a whisper.

Joshua's arm wrapped around his shoulders. "Anytime, Jeonghan. You deserve better than someone who doesn't respect your boundaries."

Jeonghan nodded, knowing Joshua was right. He needed to confront Hyungwon, to figure out if their love was real or just a facade. And he was grateful to have Joshua by his side, every step of the way.

But Jeonghan was sure Joshua will forget this all by tomorrow. The man was drunk by the alcohol his consumed.

Only if he knew that his best friend won't forget about that shity man.

Flashback End

Joshua was done with Hyungwon's behaviour from the morning. 'Yah bitch he doesn't want to talk to you. Can't you fuck off from our eye sight?' He wanted to say all this out loud but didn't say respecting Jeonghan's feelings.

"Hyung, i'll talk to you later so go now please." Jeonghan stated very politely. Although Hyungwon doesn't wanted to go but still headed to his respective class.

Sighing to himself Jeonghan diverted his gace to another side. 'Did I do right? Am I really blind as josh told?' he laid his head on his right hand looking outside from the window.

All the time Joshua was sitting beside him, he felt bad for the latter. His best friend is too good for this world.

Somewhere else

"If you really want him. Just take you step forward." A voice instructed the man sitting on his chair looking through the files.

"And he'll accept it?" A cold, harsh yet deep voice replied, giving a cold stare to the person sitting on the couch.

"If he deny then force him but make him happy for the life and give the all love you have for him." In a threatening tone the latter said. After that he stood up and walk outside from the cavin of the other.

"Love.......sure..."
