We'll meet again

Chapter 5

Tree's POV:

I wake up. Everything is upside down.. I look around. I'm in my car. The windshield of my car is cracked. I hear sirens. My glasses are cracked. Everything goes black. I open my eyes. I'm in a hospital room. I look around. A doctor enters the room. The doctor tells me that I got into a car accident. The doctor leaves. Leafy enters the room. "Tree! You're alive!" Leafy holds my hand. "Hey Leafy.." I say. "Me and your friends were so worried.. How are you?" Leafy asks me. "I'm good.." I reply. Leafy and I talked for a while. "So.. How's my friends..?" "They're fine... I think." Leafy tells me. She looks at the clock on the wall. "Well, I got to go home, see you tomorrow, Tree!" Leafy says as she leaves. I stare at the ceiling. A few weeks go by. I can finally leave the hospital. Liy came to pick me up from the hospital.

TIME SKIP

Liy helps me walk to the door of my house. She opens the door for me. We enter the house. I walk to the couch and sit down. "Liy, thanks for picking me up from the hospital.." I say. "It's no problem, Tree." Liy says. Remote suddenly appears in the hallway. "Liy, you're finally back.." Remote says. She notices Tree. "Tree!" She runs to me and hugs me tightly. I hug back. "Remote, stop joking around- Oh my gosh, it's Tree!" Pen shouts. The others enter the living room. They ran to me and hugged me. "G-guys.. i can't breathe.." I say. The others pull back. "Heh, sorry.." They apologise. "It's okay.." I say. "So.. How have you guys been doing since I got into the hospital..?" I ask. "We've been doing great, right guys?" *Liy asks. The others say 'yeh' or 'yep'. "When we told SketchBook that you got into a car accident, they broke down in front of us." Liy tells me. "Wait, she did?" I say, surprised. "Yeah, I've always thought she's a tough person, but the way she reacted to the news.. eh.. I don't know what to say." Pen says.

Meanwhile, with Dahlia, SketchBook,
And BlackHole. 3rd person POV:

"Hey, SketchBook! Liy just texted me that Tree is back. Wanna go see him?" Dahlia asks. "Can Black Hole go?" SketchBook asks. Dahlia pauses. "Eh... No." "What do you mean no..?" SketchBook asks. "If Tree finds out that BlackHole is with me.. He'll know that I stole his body and.. He'll probably beat the crap out of me.." Dahlia explains. "Oh.. When are we gonna tell Tree and the others that Black Hole is alive..?" SketchBook asks. "I don't know.."

Later.

SketchBook is at Tree's house. Currently, SketchBook and the others are playing UNO. "Hah! Plus four!" Marker says as he puts down a plus four card. "Yes! Plus four." SketchBook puts down another plus four card. "Really! I hate you guys.." Remote gets eight cards from the stack of UNO cards. They continue playing. A few hours go by. SketchBook goes home. Tree is eating soup in the kitchen. "Hey Tree, you sure you can take care of yourself?" Liy asks. She is getting ready to leave with the others. "Yeah, I'm sure." Tree replies. "Okay, if you say so." Liy leaves the kitchen. Tree hears the front door closing. Tree finishes eating the soup. He stands up and walks to the sink. He puts the bowl in the sink. He goes to the bathroom and brushes his teeth. He changes into his sleepwear. He goes to his bedroom. He turns the lights off and lays down on the bed. He looks at the picture of him and Black Hole. "Goodnight, Black Hole.." Tree yawns. He takes off his contacts and falls asleep.

Meanwhile, with Black Hole.

Black Hole is changing into his sleepwear. He looks at himself in the mirror. Black Hole puts his hoodie on. He turns the lights off and lays down on his bed. He looks at his phone wallpaper. It's a picture of him and Tree. "I miss you, Tree. Goodnight.." Black Hole turns his phone off. He puts his phone on the bedside table. He closes his eyes. He falls asleep.
