After two weeks, Kelly receives a call from an unknown number; it is Jena, and she needs Kelly's assistance in getting to Jena's school for Career Day. Kelly answers "yes" without hesitation and inquires about the time and date.
Kelly approaches the school secretary the next day, introducing herself and inquiring as to how to locate the principal. She follows the secretary's instructions and knocks on the door. Come in, Jena says. Kelly walks in and is taken aback to see that Jena is the principal.They exchange greetings and edit Kelly's speech for the kids. Subsequently, Jena brings Kelly to classroom 4, wishing her luck and encouraging her to be authentic.
As Kelly speaks to the students, she notices Jena looking at her in a way that gives her confidence. A student asks Kelly at the end of her presentation if she is married, to which she responds that she is single. In the principal's office, Kelly apologizes to Jena for being a horrible student, and they both giggle. As they walk towards Kelly's car, Kelly tells Jena that they should hang together some time.
Jena asks, "What about tonight?" Kelly tells her it's alright.
