hello all! long time no see. i hope that you've been well since we last saw each other.

this book was one of the first things i did that i took pride in, and was definitely a primary motivator for my pursuit of a writing career. the beautiful love and support i received from this was what made me feel like i could make it professionally, and now i have.

i wanted to share with you my recently published works of poetry as a thank you for being supportive of me when i was younger. i have never forgotten it all, even with my obvious inactivity on this platform as it changes and evolves in ways that push it further away from the site i fell in love with when i was eleven.

with that, i would like to introduce:

The Book of Venus: Volumes 1 & 2
(Volume 3 release 9/10/24)

The Book of Venus is an artwork and poetry collection comprised of four 50+ page volumes released over the span of a year. some of the poetry is brand new, some written during my teenage years; together, it forms what i believe to be the most accurate picture of my life and my personal struggles with mental illness throughout. it is the most vulnerable thing i have ever done, and has helped me define what and who i am, make peace with my mental illness, and redefine my own femininity throughout multiple tumultuous eras of my life that were very publicly hosted, primarily online. you remember.

this project means the world to me in the same way that every word i wrote online did when i was sixteen. it's been a stunning revival, and i really hope that you love it as much as you loved this book.
