(Naya's pov)
We ended up walking around the park, and it was uncomfortable seeing everyone gawking at us like we were some sort of prey. Demi seemed fine with it, she seemed content by the smile on her face. I looked down at Buddy who was walking happily a couple of feet in front of us. Yes he had a leash on, and yes Demi was the one that had it.
"You're not so subtle" Demi said making me lift my head and make contact with her eyes "If you're uncomfortable just tell me, we can leave"
"No it's fine. I just don't like people staring at us like we're some sort of aliens. I mean we're people just like they are"
"You left out the part were we're celebrities and they find that oh so very fascinating" I chuckled
"Mostly you. You inspire people everyday, why wouldn't people be fascinated by you" She blushed looking down trying to hide the fact that she was blushing making me nudge her shoulder a little "You're not so very subtle either"
When we arrived back to my hotel room Demi decided to take a shower while I sat down in the bed with my back against the headboard and turned on the tv "Do you have a habit of getting on top of people's beds?" I told Buddy petting him lightly. I heard the shower stop and Demi came out in nothing but a towel wrapped around her body. I looked at her, well my eyes kept on roaming around her body and the fact that she was naked under that towel made my mouth dry
"I-I uh...I mean that was fast" She raised an eyebrow and chuckled
"Where's your clothes?" I pointed towards the floor where my luggage was at. Minutes later she came back with one of my shirts and a pair of sweats before jumping on the bed next to Buddy. Buddy was in between us and Demi decided to cuddle up against Buddy
"Who's a good boy? Huh" I rolled my eyes and continued switching the channels until I stopped on Lifetime. I would've thought that would've caught Demi's attention since it's one of her favorite channels, but it didn't. I turned my head and saw her playing with Buddy, she turned towards me and giggled but her fave soon turned concerned "What's wrong?" I shook my head and drifted my attention back to the TV screen. I felt her fingers underneath my chin making me turn her attention to her again "Babe..." I hummed. She positioned herself next to me and she put her head on my shoulder "You okay?" I nodded smiling at her giving her a light kiss on the lips
"It's fine. I just wanted to cuddle with you" she laughed and got closer to me than she already was
"I'm all yours Nay"
We spent most of the day watching nothing but Lifetime movies until around 6 o' clock when Demi's phone started ringing making her get up and leave the room. I sighed missing her warmth. She came back and leaned against the doorway looking at me frowning
"That was Caroline. She um invited me to go to this party with her"
"And what did you tell her?" she bit her lip looking a little uneasy
"I told her I would go..." I nodded trying to hide the disappointment on my face "Don't be mad at me I'm sorry"
"I'm not mad. I just wanted to spend some time with you before I left, because jeez I don't even know how long it'll be until I see you again, maybe a month or two"
"Naya you can come if you want" I shook my head. I didn't want to spend my night at a party full with drunk people.
"I don't want to be a bother on your friends night out"
"Naya I'm sorry for not saying no, but she's my friend an-" I cut her off
"And I'm your girlfriend. Does that not mean anything?!" She looked at me eye wide "You know what? It doesn't even matter. Go with your friends" I told her setting myself on the bed and putting the covers over myself
