Christmas is this week, me and Naya have been together for almost two months. . On New Year's Eve it'll be exactly 2 months. The public eye doesn't know yet about or relationship, we're keeping it a secret for I don't even know how long. We both agreed to spend Christmas away sadly. I probably won't be able to see Naya for two weeks because she might not come on New Years either because her parents wanted her to spend the holidays with them and well I'm also spending the holidays with my family.
I walked around the house, the house I grew up in, looking around for any signs of my parents or sisters but no sign of them. This is my first day here and they're not here.
"Mom? Dad?" I went to the kitchen and looked in the fridge only to find it empty "that's nice" I muttered. I walked around in my bunny slippers then went to the back outside only to be greeted by a coldness of air
"Damn it Texas, since when is it this cold here" I went back inside and sat on the couch turning on the tv from the living room. I went through every channel and thee was nothing on. What is this? Why am I already bored?
"Demi you're awake?!" I turned my head to the person that was standing on the door way, it was my little sister
"Oh hi Maddie you were here already?"
"No we just got back from the grocery store" I got up fast and went to the kitchen seeing my parents carrying grocery bags
"Oh my god yes. Mom can you make me some pancakes?" I told her while she was taking everything out of the bags
"Make them yourself, you're old enough"
"But moooom?" I whined "I want pancakes" she completely ignored me and started putting the stuff away...that was until she was done.
"Who wants pancakes?!?" Everyone said 'me' at the same time except for me
"I guess you don't want pancakes" she said to me before turning the stove on. Darn you mom.

My parents since I got here wouldn't stop asking about my love life
"So when are we going to meet this lovely girl?"
"Maaaaaa" I told her making my sister and brother look up "stooooop. Maybe later, but not now"
"You're in a relationship? And You didn't tell us?!" my little sister
"Yes I'm in a relationship" I let out kinda annoyed by all this talk about me "now can we move out of me and talk about Nickayla over here which you haven't seen either in a while"
"Oh I saw her last month as for you" she pointed at me with her spoon "I haven't seen you since this summer, shame on you!"
"What about Mychal?"
"He has an excuse. You don't" I let out a small gasp, that's some bullshit right there
"But-"
"But nothing now where's your girl?" I blushed when she said that
"Um...with her family, she's spending her two weeks there. I was hoping to begets for a couple of days and go over there for Christmas" My mom looked at me
"Absolutely not. You didn't come visit me now you don't want to spend Christmas with us"
"But I'll be here Christmas Eve I'll just leave to Texas on Christmas" I nervously played with my fingers under the table
"Only if you bring her here on New Years, so I can meet her" My face went from a smile to a frown
"Ma she has a family too, she can't just leave them"
