I still sat in the living room, but I had changed the channel...over and over again. Needless to say, I was bored out of my mind.
I heard something behind me, and I jumped, turning around and staring over the couch cushions. The door handle was turning, and soon enough, someone came inside. I stood a little now, staring. He turned to me, gave a confused smile and ran to Austin's room.
It was Alex. I knew it. He had a perfect smile and his hair was always well....perfect.
I turned off the TV, and went to my room. I grabbed out my laptop and layed on the bed. I kicked my feet and hummed along to Pandora, which was coming from my phone.
On my laptop I went on Tumblr and scrolled through some different tags I followed. I went to twitter and updated my page. I didn't tell anyone I was at Austin Mahones house.
In my newsfeed I saw Dave was at the gym, so that's where he went...
I went to youtube for a few minuted after that. I clicked on a reccomended video and stared at the buffering black screen, and almost peed my pants. In the screen was the reflection of Austin and his friend sitting in my room staring at me. I turned around and Austin's grin fell.
His friend stood, "Hey there, I'm Alex. Who are you?" He said smiling. His smile was so infectious, I stared grinning.
"I'm Leigh." I smiled and looked at Austin with a confused look. I turned back to Alex who was standing there smiling. His teeth are so white and gorgeous.
Alex spoke. "We just came in to talk to you. Get to know you a bit." Austin looked at him with an annoyed face. I begun to doubt Austin wanted to be here.
"Oh..." I stammered. Alex was still smiling and Austin was looking at his feet. I slid over on the bed leaving room for Alex. "What uh...what do you want to--know...?" I said.
Alex sat down and Austin looked at me. I scooted over a bit more, making more room for him. "Hmmmm, any ideas Austin?" Alex asked. Austin shook his head and stared back his feet. "No? Okay I got one! So, Leigh...what are you doing tomorrow?" He smiled his huge smile and tilted his head a bit.
"Actually I was going to hang out with my friend tomorrow at some park." I talked quiet, but he could hear me.
"Oh, okay well Austin and I were going to show you around town. But that can wait another day, yah?" He stood and headed for the door. "Let's go Austin." Austin rolled his eyes as the stood up from the bed. He mumbled a 'bye' and I waved.
I waited a few minutes before I got up and walked to my door. I looked at Austin's door and fought the urge to listen in. I turned my head to leave, but I couldn't resist. I walked quietly to the door and put my ear against it.
"She seems..normal, and sweet. She is pretty" Alex said to Austin. They must have been playing with a ball because it hit the wall just next to the door.
"She doesn't seem like she wants to be here. How am I supossed to be in this house with her for the next 2 weeks if she doesn't want to talk to me.." Austin said. "I try to start a conversation with her and she smilles and turns around."
"Talk to her at the barbecue tonight. Make her talk to you, or else it is going to be really awkward for the next 2 weeks here." Austin started to talk, but I didn't stay long enough to listen.
I went back into my room. My phone was going off but I ignored it. I sat on the bed and held back tears.
