Hey everyone how y'all doing? Hope well, I sincerely apologise for disappearing like this but I had my reason, I was feeling disconnected with my own story so I had to take time, I was dealing with writerblock which still I am but still I managed to write so here you go with the chapter.

I was done with the class when I walked out my eyes went to Aahana she came towards running, she was gasping for air I got concerned I immediately handed her my water bottle.
"What the hell is wrong with you stupid?" I mocked her. She chugged the water and took a breath glaring at me, I knitted my brows in puzzlement.
"Where is your damn phone?" She asked her if her tone was loud but I frowned and took out my phone. It was silent. It had 10 missed calls from my mother.
I got anxious, my heart beat increased with worry as I called her quickly she picked up the phone in the first ring.
"Mumma what's wrong, are you fine, is dad okay?" I asked her before she could say anything, the fear evident in my voice.
"Maithili your father is missing, he said he is going somewhere but he didn't return I have tried calling him but his phone is unreachable" She let out her voice low and I can easily guess she was crying, I was terrified plus shocked for a moment but I composed myself taking a deep breath.
"Mom can you calm down, I'll handle this case you just take care of yourself I'm coming alright" I instructed her while running out from my university Aahana trailing behind me in puzzlement.
"What happened? Will you elaborate" She asked as soon as we sat inside my car, I glanced at for once before answering.
"Dad is nowhere to be found, so I am dropping you at my place take care of mom because I need to be somewhere else" I informed her gripping the steering wheel tightly anger crepting inside me, I tried to control the heat of rage, because I have an idea who might be behind this.
"But how did he get lost? I mean do you think he has been kidnapped" she asked with her eyes wide, I took a breath , my eyes turning red from the wrath I guess.
"I don't think I'm sure he is kidnapped, and I'm going to kill my darling husband for doing this" I let out gritting my teeth, trying to control my breath, I pressed the accelerator more than needed.
I mean how can he do this to me, he promised me that he will give me time but that asshole he is definitely going to pay for this little stunt he had pulled on me.
After dropping Aahana I went directly to Rathore mansion, I walked inside with quick steps and the atmosphere was quite normal here.
Me and my mother are suffering here and these people are so chill, like hell.
"Veeransh kahan hain?" I asked from Rudra in firm tone he was taken a back my demeanor, my face was red with anger evident in my voice.
