"Babe!" Miguel's voice echoed from the bathroom, filled with urgency. My heart skipped a beat as I rushed in, wondering what could have happened.

"What is it?" I shouted back, my mind racing with possibilities.

He stood before the mirror, a solemn expression on his face. "My gray hairs are coming in now," he said, pointing at his temple. I couldn't help but let out a small laugh of relief.

"Aw, it's okay, Miguel," I said softly, cupping his pouty face in my hands. "I can dye them for you if you want." He sighed deeply and looked at me with a mix of worry and sadness.

"This must mean I'm getting too old." I couldn't resist teasing him a little.

"You're not old yet, babe," I reassured him with a smile. He gave me a half-hearted smile in return. "But still...the gray hair..."

I put my arms around his neck and pulled him into a warm hug. "You still look great to me, Miguel. Honestly, I think gray hair suits you."

His eyes softened as he looked at me. "This is why I married you, mi vida," he said tenderly. "You mean the world to me."

"I know," I teased, a playful grin spreading across my face.

"You're such a brat," he chuckled, scooping me up into his arms effortlessly. "Now sit here and wait for me," he commanded, depositing me on the living room couch.

Curiosity piqued, I watched as he disappeared down the hallway. He had been acting strange all day and now this sudden concern over his gray hairs had left me wondering what was going on.A few moments later, he returned with a mysterious smile on his lips. "Close your eyes," he

instructed, covering them with his hands. "Are they shut?"

"Mmhm, I solemnly swear," I replied, playing along.

"Open your eyes now," he said, a hint of nervousness in his voice.

I blinked open to see him holding up tiny Spider-Man pajamas. My heart swelled with emotion and I couldn't hold back the tears that welled up in my eyes.

"I know I'm getting old and all mi vida, but if you'd let this old ma-" he began, but I couldn't contain my excitement.

"Yes, a thousand times yes!" I exclaimed, unable to contain my joy any longer. "When did you get these?"

Miguel's smile widened. "A few days ago, when I was sure that I wanted to start a family with you."

My heart felt like it could burst with happiness. Miguel had always talked about wanting kids and the thought of having a family with him filled me with joy.

"I know how much you've wanted kids. I'm sorry I wasn't born a woman," I said, feeling a pang of guilt for not being able to give him children naturally.

"Oh babe, don't say that," he reassured me, pulling me into a warm embrace. "I love you no matter what. Let's love each other, flaws and all, okay?"

"Okay, Miguel," I whispered, feeling the warmth of his words and his love enveloping me.

"Well," he said, a mischievous glint in his eye, "you don't have to be able to make a baby to get in bed with me." He picked me up again, carrying me towards our room as we laughed and joked together. The thought of starting a family with Miguel filled me with excitement and hope for our future together. We may not be able to have children biologically, but love knows no boundaries. As we settled into bed, wrapped in each other's embrace, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the love and happiness that Miguel had brought into my life. And I knew that no matter what, we would always have each other's back, through thick and thin, until the end of time.
