The day they were waiting for us finally here today is their engagement.

Both the families gathered in Rajput mansion with their all the relatives and friends, because aarohi's father wants A function of his daughter's marriage should be held at his home.

Shivansh is standing on the stage and his eyes are fixed on the stairs from were his to be bride , his rooh is going to come.

" Bas kar bhai aa jayegi Teri hone wali biwi tab Tak hum dosto se hi baat karle" Vidyut said smacking his shoulder.

" Are vidyut samjha kar yaar, ab apna bhai humse thodi baat karega , wo to sirf apni Rooh se baat karega , kyo shivansh"
Avinash tease him. Shivansh royally ignore their banter and again look at the stairs.

" Why girls take so much time to get ready"
Shivansh mumbles whining slowly but it's audible to everyone present there who start laughing loudly at his condition.

" Patience young man," jaiveer said patting Shivansh shoulder. Shivansh scratch his neck feeling embarassed and nod his head.

" Kaha ho rooh, ab or mat tadpao hume"
Shivansh said in his mind.

On the other side , Our Aarohi dressed in her beautiful lehnga, admiring herself in the mirror. Her mother come from behind and put a kala tika behind her neck preventing her from all the evil eyes out there.

" Meri gudiya kitni Sundar lag rahi hai, tum kab itni bdi ho gayi princess ,mujhe to pata hi nahi chala" Her father said with moist eyes.

He could not believe himself that is his princess, his aaru is getting engaged today.
It feels like just yesterday when he held his princess in his arms for the first time, when she said her first word “papa”. That day he felt like the happiest person in the world.

It was just yesterday when his Laado walked holding his finger and today she is going to hold someone else’s hand.

She is going to belong to someone for the rest of her life, now his little doll will not come running to him with her problems because there will be someone who will solve all her problems before they reach her.

It is not that he is not happy but for a father, the thought of his daughter going away from him cannot sooth his heart in any way.

Today he really feels that “my daughter has grown up”.

" Papa" Arohi hugged her father and put her head on his chest. Suraj came out of his thoughts and held his daughter in his protective arms.

“I know what you are thinking but let me tell you one thing beforehand, even if I leave this house, even if someone is always there to take care of me, but if I face any trouble, I will come running to my papa , because no matter what happens, you will always be my hero”

Aarohi said and hid her face in her father’s chest, some tears fell from Suraj’s eyes but he wiped them, other family members got teary-eyed seeing this father and daughter bond.

“Now stop crying both of you” Mahima said and separated the two.

“Papa you are right, mummy gets jealous seeing our love” Aarohi says teasing her mother.

Mahima gasp hearing her daughter's words and lightly twists her ear and says "badmas" Everyone else laughs.

" Aaru ab chal bhi koi impatiently tera wait kar raha hai"  Vishal said teasing her.
