CAM and his girlfriend, MARIE, sat in the living room waiting for his sister CAIRA to be done with the bathroom. she was showering and still packing up her stuff.
their first games would be in lancaster, pennsylvania and he already had his team made. they were already packed and ready to go but caira liked to be fresh before going to the airport.
" CAI HURRY YOUR ASS UP "cam knocked on the bathroom door. " IM COMINGG " she yelled from behind the door. clattering could be heard.
cam rolled his eyes at marie who was smiling. marie and caira had a sisterly bond so she always stuck up for her. when the two girls first met, they immediately clicked.
" leave her alonee shes just a girl cam. we take long doing things " marie wheeled her suitcase closer to the front door.
caira walked out of the bathroom. she put her skincare bag into her suitcase and she slid her crocs on. she packed all her shoes, clothes and other stuff so she was just wearing a airport outfit.
" aii lets go becaude we have to meet lavar, nelson, niles and noah at the airport and i dont wanna hear they asses complain " cam opened the door and motioned for them to walk out.
they walked out of the apartment and down to the car. cam put all of their stuff in the trunk while marie and caira got into the car.
" cam can we stop at a gas station? i want food and a drink " caira asked while cam put his phone onto the charger.
" fine fatty but only cuz i want food too " he laughed. caira rolled her eyes but laughed when he turned to her.
cam played his playlist and they all sung in the car together as they drove to the airport. the sun was setting so caira took a few pictures out the window.
" im excited to be able to watch all the games cause last year i wasnt able to " caira said as cam nodded his head.
although last year rwe played in the summer time, caira had to stay in arizona because she was doing a volunteering group and couldnt opt out of it.
she didnt sign up for the group this summer so she could spend time with cam and his basketball team.
" yeah sis. im excited for you to meet daydrian and zeddy and stuff. by the way, we are playing punchmadedev this weekend too "
" WHAT? oh hell nah im not getting my shit robbed " she clutched her nike elite backpack that was next to her.
" nah trust we gon keep our stuff upstairs. but i cant wait cuz shit bouta be crazy in pa. we got 5 star players, punchmade dev, whiteboy em. its gon be a moviee "
" can i do your hair? ill give you cornrows " caira asked.
" yeah sis u can do my hair. the guys will probably let you do their hair too "
usually marie did cams hair but caira wanted to have a lash and hair business so she practiced hair on cam and lashes on marie.
caira made a nervous face. she didnt know how to feel about doing other dudes hair. other dudes that she had barely known.
" speaking of the guys, whos gonna be playing? "
" uhh jalilbethea, kiyananthony, choppa, and i forgot but just wait sis "
she nodded her head and they were at the airport. they parked the car and got out, walking inside. they checked their bags in and waited to go onto the plane.
it was a six hour flight but cam tended to buy airplane wifi. the plane was a 3 seater so caira got window seat.
" whats good cam " lavar dapped up cam. the neumannbrothersalso dapped him up, looking at caira confused.
" yo whos this ? " lavar asked, pointing his thumb at her but put it down right away. instead, he used his head to point at her.
" thats my little sis, caira. shes gonna be at all the games with us " caira looked up and moved her airpod maxes from her right ear.
she recognized lavar from the videos but was still shocked to see him. she smiled at him and the others.
they all waited to go on the plane and sat near the door. cam tried to get caira comfortable with them because they would be staying in an airbnb with other boys.
marie usually was the only girl with them but with caira with them as well, she had someone to talk to.
" ease up lil sis, the closer you get to them, the more fun we gon have in the other cities " cam pulled her close to him.
" and more huzz i can get closer to " caira joked as cam let go of her. cam smacked her arm because he hated the thought of his little sister having a boyfriend. she was better off single.
