ALL WEEK, they had been packing up the apartment. caira put her clothes in boxes. she made sure to label her boxes so she knew which ones were hers and where they went.
cam and marie packed up the kitchen. bubble wrap, tape, and boxes were all over the living room. music blasted on the tv so that they had some motivation.
the apartment was a mess but thats what comes along with packing.
cairas clothes, decorations, kitchen, living room, and bathroom, are what some of the boxes said. they had already brought the heavy stuff to the new house but there was still more to pack.
caira stuffed big boxes with her pillows and blankets. she sat on some of the boxes while taping them so that it would fit.
they rented a u-haul for a week, filling it to the top with boxes and random stuff.
caira took apart her bed and dresser. she decided that she wanted to donate them and get a new one because she wanted a dresser with more space. she was also getting a king bed because she had a queen bed before.
on amazon and shein, she bought new decorations for her room. on ikea, she bought a new bedframe, headboard, dresser, and storage for her legos.
packing up her legos were hard so she wrapped them up in bubble wrap. carefully placing them into boxes, her and marie drove to the house to drop them off in her room.
" damn i forgot how hard packing is. and we gotta unpack all this shit?? god damn " cam complained, wiping his forehead and fanning his face.
" its gon be okay cam. plus its fun because we got bigger rooms and more space " caira said, putting her skincare into her backpack. then she ripped off her led lights off the top of her walls, throwing them away in the big garbage bag.
caira regretted not packing earlier, especially when jalil was at the apartment with them. but cam and marie had to finish up some paperwork before they started packing as well.
" so we just got the rug and a few little things we can fit into the car right ? " he asked. the two girls nodded. he left to go to the parking garage and drive the uhaul.
caira held her backpack and a few bags. marie did the same and they went to the car, putting all the stuff in the trunk and back seat.
there was still a few more things but they could drive back to the apartment.
they unloaded the uhaul and the car, putting stuff into their designated rooms to make it easier on all of them. cam drove back to the apartment with all of them in the car, grabbing the last things and remembering the memories they had in the apartment.
