THE TWO WERE CUDDLED UP on the couch together. caira lay on jalils chest and asleep under her spiderman blanket. jalil had one arm around her, the other on top of her back holding her phone.
she was snoring lightly. he smiled at her. he knew she snored because she told him but never heard her. he felt comfortable with her in his arms. it made him feel like he was keeping her safe.
" aww my lil sis sleeping " zeddy was recording the two. jalil smiled at the camera and looked back at his phone.
" and luh twan cuddling her. whos gonna recreate that with me " he flipped the camera back on him and threw his arm up. he shook his head then ended the recording.
caira tossed and turned a little before settling on a different position. her head was turned the other way and her arm was up. her hand rested on his hair.
" you awake baby cai ? " he asked, trying to get a look at her face. it was hard to see but he couldnt really see.
" hmm ? " her voice rasped. she lifted her head up slightly and put it on the couch pillow. she looked at jalil and rubbed her temple.
" i wake you up ma ? " he asked her. she shook her head no and put the blanket over her, up to her neck. jalil fixed the blanket on him.
" the guys got trays of food from somewhere. lets go eat " he took the blanket off of her and tried to get up. she got the memo and moved off of him.
" its coldd " she shivered. caira grabbed her blanket off of the couch and wrapped herself in it. jalil put his arm around her and walked to the kitchen.
there was steak, rice, fries and more. jalil grabbed them both a plate and fork. she grabbed the food and put it on the plate. jalil did the same.
" i liked napping on you. your warmth and heartbeat, you know i like background noise when i sleep "
" of course i do ma. i dont know how you sleep with the noise but it dont bother me. whatever you like " he scooped the rice into his mouth.
" you sure it doesnt bother you? cam used to complain when we were younger " her voice rasped.
" never that ma. your voice is cute when you wake up " he laughed, sipping his glass of water. "i sound crazyy"
" no you sound cute. but eat your food cause cam said he was gonna leave with you guys at 9:30 and its 9:00. " he looked at his phone.
" you can come over. ill ask cam and you can just stay in my room. we've already slept together at the past airbnbs "
" i mean if cam is fine with it then lets ask after we eat "
