FIRST PAIN Venue : home (late winter night)

It was a cool winter night when the boy , Shouta was in bed with his brother Rin.

Flashback to a few weeks ago , Shouta noticed the unusual behaviour of his father, Takeshi every night where he would come back home drunk from work and every morning see bruises on his mom's arms. But everything changed tonight as he was to witness the situation first hand.

Back to present , Shouta heard a loud bang and woke up from his sleep and saw his father in his usual drunken state but worse than the past few days. Shouta went to the kitchen to drink some water when he heard his mother scream. There he was standing face to face with his father grabbing his mother on the throat pushing her to the wall. The boy reacted fast and pushed his father away from the mother but Takeshi grabbed him and threw him to the ground. Shouta still managed to collect his strength and stood up once more to save his mother . Soon Takeshi gave up and took out all the belongings of his wife , Hana and threw it out and told her to leave . Shouta tried to stop his father again but this time his father told Shouta to leave the house too. This broke Shouta because before the start of his father's addiction to alcohol, Takeshi was shouta's best friend and were very close and inseparable. Shouta decided to leave the house and go with his mother, Hana but Hana begged Takeshi to let Shouta stay in the house because they would have no place to go . Hana fell on her knees ,started crying and begged Takeshi which forced him to take back Shouta and his wife again.

This led to the start of Shouta's happy world to crumble and it turned into a dark and lonely world. Shouta was never the same after the incident but after various attempts made by Hana , Rin and Yuki ( shouta's younger sister) he could understand that not every happiness lasts forever.

The so called happy family soon fell into ruins and they could no longer be the same as the past.
