Well Jasmine told Max the big news. Now that is what I call a birthday surprise. Will this change Max and Jasmine's lives together? Will they be together because of this, or will they go another route? Let's find out.
Max
"Pregnant?", I asked her. I couldn't believe what I just heard. " You sure?", I asked also. She showed me the test at that point. It was positive. I still couldn't comprehend what was going on. I began to smile at that point. "Anything else?", she asked me. "Wow. I can't believe this.", I told her. "Well it's true Max.", she told me with a warm smile. "Just wow. I can't believe I-". I froze. I began to think and my smile left my face quick. "What's wrong?", she asked, putting her hands in mine. I knew I had to ask. I couldn't avoid the question even though I want to badly. "Jazzy.", I said. "What is it?", She asked concernedly. "Who's the father?", I asked. As soon as I saw her smile leave I knew I should've kept my Damn mouth shut. "I don't know to be honest Max. Sorry.", She said. I noticed she was about to cry so I wrapped my arm around her, but she moved it and went to the bathroon to cry. I feel like shit. I grabbed my keys and left. I need a drink.
Jasmine
I feel terrible. I'm pregnant, but I don't know who his father his. I wanna believe it's Max, but there are two other candidates unfortunately. I want Max to be the father, but it's hard for a guy to take care of a child that might not be yours. Plus I can't force it on him. I know I hurt his feelings by walking away, but dammit he hurt mine right there with that question. He's right to ask me that though. I need to figure out who's the father. I called Tina over to figure out a plan or something. I knew she would help me with anything. Especially this. I took like two hours for her to get here. I heard her knock on the door. As soon as I unlocked the door, she busted through like was her damn house. "Sorry girl. You take to long to open the door.", she told me. "Me? You stay around the block but it took you like two hours to get here.", I responded. "Well excuse me for enjoying my shower Jazz.", she said. "Look no arguing about time. Let's get down to business. We need to find out who my baby's father is.", I explained. "Right. So who are the candidates?", she asked. "Well Max for starters.", I said. "Of course him. Who else?", she asked. "Chad.", I told her shamefully. "Wait. Football douchebag Chad?", Tina asked shocked. "Yeah. It was nothing like that between us. It was awhile ago.", I explained. "Oh thank God. I thought you lost your mind for a second there.", she said. "Girl you know I'm not that stupid." I said back. " But who is the other one?", she asked. "Ross.", I answered. "Oh. Well I have an idea.", she said. "What is it?", I asked her. "Were gonna gonna use time. You tell me when were the times you had sex with them and I'll figure out which is closest to your pregnancy.", she explained. "Sounds good, but I don't they would want to step up and be a father.", I said. "I know Max will.", she said confidently. "I'm not so sure about that. What if he isn't the father? No man want's that kind of responsibility of raising a child that's not theirs."I told her. "I feel you Jazz. It will take one hell of a man to do that.", She responded. I still remembered when his smile left his face before he asked me that question. I fell as if he might not want anything to do with if it isn't his. I wanted to go get a test don, but I know Chad is not going to want it an I don't want anything to do with Ross. I'm just worried about Max though. I'll understand if he doesn't want to help if it isn't his. I don't want to drop something like this on him. Max
I went to the bar to catch a couple of drinks. As I was sitting there, chugging down Cherry Bombs, one of my closest co-workers, Jason, came up and sat beside me. "Yo. What's up Maxy Boy?", he said to me, sticking out his hand. "Nothing man. Just drinking my thoughts away.", I explained to him while shaking his hand. "What's on your mind?", he asked. "Well don't say anything to anybody yet Ok?", I asked. "I promise mane. Now what's up?", he anxiously asked. "Now my girlfri-, person I'm talking to I mean, is pregnant and we don't know if I'm the father or not.", I explained. "Damn man. That's crucial.", he said. "I know man. I know.", I responded. "I think I can help. How much do you love her?", he asked me. "More than anybody in this world. There is nothing I wouldn't do for her or to keep her. I want to be with her forever.", I spilled out. "Wow. That's good. What is her relationship with the other possible fathers. If you know I mean.", he asked. "Hates them with a passion. They put her through straight hell. They don't want anything to do with her either.", I explained. "Well if you truly love her like you say you do, you should be willing to help no matter what. She really needs you anyway from what you've been telling me at work. If you want to stay with her forever. Prove it.", he said with a very deep and friendly look."You're right man. I know what I have to do.", I told him. I patted his back and shot out of the bar.

Jason
I just realized, this bastard left me to pay this damn bill.
