Damien tried to hide his noises of pain as Ahk hefted him to his feet, swinging one arm over his shoulder as the other carried the spear. Yet grunts and whimpers left his lips, thankfully swallowed up by the noise of the fight happening around them. Ahk kept up a gentle murmurs of encouragement as he half dragged, half carried Damien from the centre of the room and towards the date to the underworld. "I've got you", he soothed as he slowly lowered Damien back down to lean him into the corner between the gate and the wall.

Damien was breathing heavily. Sweat beading his brow and Ahk pushed some blonde strands back with his fingers before cupping his cheek in his hand. The archeologist wasn't looking good. Blood was staining through his bandages at a worrying rate and he was pale, breath weaker than before. Still, despite the way he was slumped weakly in the corner, Damien raised an arm to Ahk's shoulder as the pharaoh leaned in a kiss to his lips. Damien kissing back feebly.

"I love you", Ahk stated as he pulled away. Green eyes steady and determined. Damien's lips twitched into a smile.

"Love you too. Go get them", he gave the shoulder a weak push and Ahk stood up, spear in hand. He pulled the remains of the sling Damien had fastened hours ago from his shoulder and shook out his sprained arm, flexing it a few times to test the motions. There was a deep simmering rage in his eyes. The green deep and fathomless. Damien almost pitied his lover's opponents. Almost, if it wasn't for the stab wound in his abdomen.

For a few seconds Ahk watched the brawl around them, and it was more of a brawl than a battle. Their side was a range of sizes and shapes. There was a giant octopus with a body the size of a truck. Three stone cherubs flying over the battle field and shooting down men with their stone arrows. A giant iron statue bowling opponents over. The miniatures, led by a newly freed Jed and Octavius, stabbing at ankles and shoes. As well as their familiar museum friends punching at Kahemenrah's men with very angry war cries.

Ahk gazed over all of their chaos with sharp eyes as he searched for one target in particular. He spotted Larry running from Napoleon, Ivan, and Al. All three of the historical men fighting each other rather than chase after the night guard. Ahk strode over to the gate and picked the tablet from the sarcophagi carved on it's surface. He tucked it under one arm before marching to where the night guard was now being held at sword point by Kahmenrah.

"Leave him!" Ahkmenrah's voice echoed over the room. The battle was coming to an end. Their forces were winning and unconscious bodies of the other Egyptian's hired goons were littering the space. "We have unfinished business brother".

Kahmenrah turned with a grin. "What? Want revenge for your golden haired lover? It's a pity I didn't kill him when I got the chance". Ahk didn't react. Larry was side stepping away from the two of them and Ahk tossed the tablet to him.

"Look after it Guardian of Brooklyn".

That was when Kahmenrah swung his blade. Ahk twisted his spear around in time to block it and the impact shook his injured wrist. But Kahmenrah was injured too. One of his fingers on his dominant hand was broken, courtesy of Damien. Ahk knew how to use that. He pushed the other off and spun the spear round in a defensive swing that forced the older man back.

"You seem angry little brother", Kahmenrah goaded. He tried to duck in close but Ahk was well skilled with a spear and the longe range of it kept the other man back.

"You murdered me", Ahk snapped as he twisted the end of his spear around the curved blade and forced it out of Kahmenrah's hands. The man being forced to drop it or break his wrist. The broken finger loosening his grip and the sword clattered on the floor with a cry of pain. "You stole my crown and ruled my people with tyranny. You had me wiped from history, my name destroyed. If it wasn't for my Damien then I would have laid forgotten to time with nothing to grace my path in the afterlife. Is that what you wanted for me brother? A fate I would not wish on my worst enemy".
