Rahul sat in his room, his mind awash with the implications of his decisions. The tension between his duties and desires weighed heavily on him. As he stared out of the window, watching the sun set in the distance, the door creaked open, and Hardik entered, clearly inebriated.

"Hey," Hardik's voice was thick with emotion and alcohol.

"Hey," Rahul replied, his voice barely audible.

Hardik staggered closer, his eyes filled with longing and confusion. "I want you back," he confessed, his words slurring slightly. "I can't go on without talking to you. I can't live without you. I can't see you with another person."

Rahul's heart ached at the sight of Hardik in such turmoil. "Hardik, we've talked about this already. It's complicated. You are going to become a father soon and your child needs both his mother and father."

"I know. We can move somewhere else, away from all this," Hardik said, his voice trembling with desperation. "A small family, just like we always wished for. We can take the baby with us. I know you will love my child as your child."

Rahul looked away, struggling to keep his tears at bay. "Hardik, I will not be a homewrecker. we have responsibilities. People depend on us and you know it more than me."

"I know. But I'm ready to leave if you promise me that you'll always be near me when this issue is sorted out. No more running," Hardik pleaded.

Rahul took a deep breath, feeling the weight of Hardik's words. "I will always be there for you, but not in the way you wanted." he replied softly.

Hardik reached out, gently turning Rahul's face towards him. "I know. But can we just have this moment? Just one moment where it's just us, without the world's weight on our shoulders?"

Rahul's resolve weakened as he saw the love in Hardik's eyes. "Just this moment," he whispered.

Hardik stepped closer until their bodies were almost touching. He cupped Rahul's face in his hands, his touch tender and reassuring. "You don't have to say anything," Hardik said softly. "Just let me hold you."

Rahul's defenses crumbled, and he leaned into Hardik's touch, feeling the warmth and comfort he had missed for so long. Hardik wrapped his arms around Rahul, pulling him into a tight embrace. They stood there, holding each other, the world outside fading away.

"I've missed you so much," Hardik murmured into Rahul's hair.

"I've missed you too," Rahul admitted, his voice choked with emotion. "But we can't keep doing this, Hardik. We have to find a way to move on."

"I know," Hardik replied, his heart breaking at the thought. "But for now, can we just pretend? Can we just be us?"

Rahul nodded, tears streaming down his face. "Just for now."

Hardik gently tilted Rahul's face up and pressed his lips against Rahul's, a soft, tender kiss that spoke of all the love and longing they had kept hidden. It was a kiss that conveyed everything words couldn't – the pain, the desire, and the unspoken promises.

As they pulled away, their foreheads resting against each other, Hardik whispered, "I'll always love you, Rahul. No matter what happens."

"I'll always love you too, Hardik," Rahul replied, his voice filled with sorrow and love.

As Hardik and Rahul's tender moment ended, they heard a faint sound, like a gasp. Both men turned to see who was there, their hearts sinking as they realized they were not alone.

Natasha stood in the doorway, her face a mask of shock and hurt. She had seen everything. The kiss, the embrace, the raw emotion. She had heard their whispered confessions. Tears welled up in her eyes, but she remained silent, her lips trembling as she tried to process what she had just witnessed.
