Kahei's POV:
Sanemi and I were quietly eating at a long wood-made table with hundreds of food covering it. We had changed our outfits into a light purple colored kimono and were quietly sitting down on purple pillows while eating.
"Shinazugawa-kun, have you tried this? It's so good you should try!" I said happily while eating something rice-made, eating always had been one of my weaknesses...
Shinazugawa looked at me and blinked his purple eyes, he had never seen me acting like this, joyful. But watching me eat the rice-made food made him want to eat it too, so he took a bite of it.
"It's too sweet... I don't like it.." He said after finishing his bite. I looked at him and smiled a little while continuing to eat other things. "Yeah... I could understand, a strong man like you would like spicy things... but... the only sweet thing you like would be..." I said before reaching an Ohagi, his favorite food.
His eyes followed my hand as I handled a seemingly very good Ohagi. Shinazugawa just stared at the dessert with hunger. "Where did you take them?" He asked, "On a plate... but it's the last one..." I answered. He rolled his eyes in annoyance before looking away and eating other things.
I looked at the Ohagi, then at him, and smiled again. "You can have it if you want, I already had eaten some so-.." I replied, him looking at me and then the food before he suddenly grabbed it and ate it. "Thanks." He added.
I was a bit surprised by his actions, but I didn't mind and continued eating what the old lady had prepared us. "Hey, Sakuraso? What was your favorite food again? Wasn't it Wagashi?" He asked after a short period of silence.
I looked at him with a small smile, he remembered after all this time not being together. "Yeah, exact!" I replied. He then held my hands in the form of holding water and dropped two small Wagashi on my palm. I looked at him with a surprised and happy face while he was just acting grumpy and he wasn't even looking at me. "That's for the Ohagi..." He added lowly.
"Thank you so much Shinazugawa-kun! I didn't know the lady had prepared them..." I smiled, and he added a small grunt as a reply before eating again.

After a while, we both finished eating almost everything that was on the table, we even had to beg for the lady to not give us more.
I was quietly chilling by sitting on my small chair similar to a futon and reading a poem book that I asked from the lady. I like reading Japanese poems, I find them very cultural and some of them I can even relate myself with.
While I was reading a very interesting poem, someone knocked on the door, I slightly closed the book and placed it on my futon chair before walking and opening the door to meet a familiar face.
"Oh hey Shinazugawa-kun." I said with my usual tone of voice. "Hey... um... I was thinking, we could talk about things... since I'm not tired at all..." He said, I nodded and welcomed him inside.
He sat in the middle of the small room and I did the same in front of him. "What did you want to talk about?" I asked.
"I don't know... I just wanted to have a small discussion before I end up wanting to sleep..." He replied honestly, me nodding.
